Juliet is a young girl who is falls in love with her families enemy. She is young, small, and only about 13 but she falls in love with Romeo who is 17. Juliet is a Capulet, and Romeo is Montague. The Capulet's number one enemy is the Montague, so this creates a small problem.

In the beginning of the play Juliet is very naive or insentient. The sound of marriage and falling in love sounds like a dream come true. This is evident when she is talking to her mother and the Nurse. "It is an honour that I dream not of." At this part of the book she didn't want to be married so she didn't have any of her sex fantasies yet.

Juliet is so Naive that she marries the first guy she met at the party. She met Romeo kissed him and she she would marry him that night. They met at a party and when he climbed the wall and asked if she would marry him she said of course. She didn't know that you normally don't marry the first guy you meet because she was so naive. "Romeo- O wilt thou leave me so unsatisfied? Juliet- What satisfaction canst thou have tonight? Romeo- The exchange of thy love's faithful vow form mine. Juliet- I gave thee mine before though didst request it, And yet I would it were to give again." Her naivety caused her to marry Romeo right away instead of waiting.

In the middle of the play she is very desiring for sex. In the middle of the play she had just got married and she is really excited to sleep with Romeo. I think she is over thinking about it because she was so naive in the beginning she had never thought about any of this and now all the feels are hitting her at once. She really wants to sleep with Romeo so she is very emotional towards everything she says.

She also doesn't know what to do with these feelings so she is acting very bipolar. Mad at Romeo, then loving him again, and then mad all over. She has all these feelings and can't act on them because Romeo is banished. These feelings and emotions also are making her mad because she can't sleep with Romeo, so she is afraid she will die a virgin. This quote is the part where she is mad at Romeo and then in love with him, "Juliet: O god! Did Romeo's hand shed Tybalt's blood. Nurse- It did, it did, alas the day, it did. Juliet- O serpent heart, hid with a flowering face. Nurse- there is trust, No faith, no honesty in men...Juliet- Blistered by thy tongue. For such a wish. He was not born to shame. Upon his brow shame is ashamed."

The song that I think describes Juliet in this time of the play is "Its a Love Story" by Taylor Swift. The song is about a forbidden love and the love of Romeo and Juliet is forbidden because their parents are rivals. The song says, "And I was crying on the staircase
Begging you, please, don't go" this relates to the part of the book when she doesn't want Romeo to leave after their first night together, "Yond light is not daylight, I know it... Therefore stay yet: Thou need'st not to be gone." These two quotes are both saying that Juliet doesn't want Romeo to leave.

At the end of the play Juliet is very sneaky and Mischievous. Since she was already married to Romeo she couldn't marry Paris, so Juliet and Friar Lawrence come up with a plan to trick everyone, and she really had everyone tricked when she drinks that potion that stops her breathing. They all thought she was dead and put her in the tomb. It was a perfect diversion. I don't think she would have ever though to do this if it wasn't for everything that happened.

Her mischievousness affected how she handled how she dealt with the situation. I think if she wasn't so mischievous she would have just told everyone the truth, but she didn't want to do that, so she came up with a plan to fake her death and run away. If this had happened in the beginning of the book she would have just told the truth, but now that she had been through so much she planned a diversion instead. This quote shows how her and Friar Lawrence came up with the plan, "Juliet- Tell me not, Friar, thou hearest of this, Unless thou tell me how I may prevent it... Friar- Hold, daughter. I do spy a kind of hope Which craves as desperate an execution... I'll give thee remedy."

I think the biggest lesson learned it not to lie. If Juliet would just have been honest then Romeo would not have killed Paris. Also, Romeo would not have killed himself. Honesty is always the best Policy. And she should have told her parents that she was married when they wanted her to marry Paris. The whole situation would have been overall better.
