Yes, it is important for companies to fulfil their social responsibilities. This is because it can impact buying decisions where customers seek to make an ethical purchase. This, in turn, can lead to greater profits for a business/corporation.

    Furthermore, being part of a policy that helps the less fortunate and those who are in need can also help boost moral values for employees within the responsible company. Knowledge that a product and service has a great influence on social causes can be a genuine delight to employees, customers and business owners alike. 

    Another importance of social responsibilities are the impact of such endeavors can have life-changing consequences for recipients of aid and, equally, instill a sense of pride in the people who support and work toward its growth. A business can grow with or without social responsibility, but doing good for others allows a business to reap rewards in many ways. Hence, our group totally agree that social responsibilities by companies are very important and essential.

 

In our opinion, we realized that every company should fulfill their social responsibility. For instance, MARS company should place their customers safety in the first place. After the company realized their mistake, they immediately take action such as admit their mistake and apologize to their customers.Thus, it will attract more stakeholders or investors to invest their company and gain the trust from the customers.

If they do not fulfill their social responsibility will cause their stakeholders getting disease by consuming or eating chocolate such as Teasers and Galaxy brand. It will cause their customers not going to buy their product because of losing trust that company. Hence, the company will loss the customers and corrupted reputation. In a nutshell, as a proactive stance company, we should not care about our own benefits instead of neglect our social responsibilities towards social environment.  

Overall, every company should take their responsibilities by seeking the opportunities actively to contribute to the well-being of groups and individuals in its social environment.

In my opinion, it is important for a company to fulfill their social responsibility because a company is also a part of the social. So, it goes without saying that a company should fulfill their responsibility because a social is like a big family and everyone should help each other. They should not hurt or trick other. It is against the morality to do things that will harm other people. If it is already happen, they should take the responsibility to apologize or make up for it. This can help the company to get the trust from the social. It is because when an incident like the chocolate got problem, people will begin to not trust the company and get angry with the company. The company may cannot operate normally and eventually have to close it. So, if the company make up for it, the social may trust the company back and forgive it. The company can continue operate like before.

In my opinion, it is important for a company to fulfill their social responsibility to improve and ensure their public image. Companies that demonstrate their commitment to various causes are perceived as more philanthropic than companies whose social responsibility endeavors are nonexistent. By publicizing their efforts and letting the general public know about their philanthropy, companies increase their chances of becoming favorable in the eyes of consumers. Furthermore increases media coverage where it does not matter how much their company is doing to save the environment if nobody knows about it. On the other hand, if a corporation participates in production or activities that bring upon negative community impacts, the media will also pick this up. Unfortunately, bad news spreads quicker than good news. Media visibility is only so useful in that it sheds a positive light on their organization. Next, boosts employee engagement when the employees working for a company that has a good public image and is constantly in the media for positive reasons. When companies show that they are dedicated to improving their communities through corporate giving programs like “matching gifts and volunteer grants”, they are more likely to attract and retain valuable, hardworking, and engaged employees. Then, attracts and retains investors who are pouring money into companies want to know that their funds are being used properly. When companies donate money to non-profit organizations and encourage their employees to volunteer their time, they demonstrate to investors that they don’t just care about profits. Instead, they show that they have an interest in the local and global community. Investors are more likely to be attracted to and continue to support companies that demonstrate a commitment not only to employees and customers, but also to causes and organizations that impact the lives of others. Finally, the company must always ready to listen to investors, employees and customer problems and their issues and try to improve it.

For this reason, evidence of a healthy social responsibility policy can impact buying decisions where customers seek to make an ethical purchase. However, building a highly regarded and trustworthy reputation is more valuable in this instance, and observers appreciate that social responsibility initiatives take time to establish and manage.

Lastly, if the company fails to fulfill their social responsibility it can lead to damage towards the enviroment, community, employees or consumers, organizations or individuals or worse corruption.
