My office is small but very comfortable. I have one big desk in the center, where I put my laptop and a telephone. Next to the desk, there is a filing cabinet with plenty of paper and folders to keep my documents. I also have a printer and a shredder in the corner of the room, which I use almost every day. On my desk, I keep some pens, a stapler, and colorful sticky notes to remind me of important tasks. My favorite item is the family photo frame that I place between my laptop and the telephone, because it always makes me feel warm and motivated while working.

In the future, I would like to work as a marketing specialist because I enjoy creating ideas that connect businesses with people. I hope to work for a large international company such as Unilever, where I can join the marketing department. My responsibilities will include researching customer needs, planning advertising campaigns, and promoting new products. To do this job well, I will need strong communication and creative thinking skills, as well as the ability to work in a team. I also need to be confident, flexible, and willing to learn new things so that I can adapt to changes in the business world.

My ideal position would be a marketing coordinator, as this role allows me to combine creativity with strategic planning. My job duties would include developing marketing campaigns, analyzing customer data, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring that marketing initiatives are aligned with the company’s goals. Working at Google would give me the opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to exciting and impactful projects.

As an office manager, I would like to remind new employees about proper office etiquette. All employees should arrive at work on time, usually by 8:30 a.m., and be ready to start their tasks. They should wear professional and neat clothing that fits the office dress code. Everyone should treat their co-workers with respect and kindness, working together as a team. It is appropriate to talk about work-related topics and general, polite conversation. Employees should avoid gossiping, using their phones during meetings, and discussing sensitive or personal issues that may make others uncomfortable.

Unit 5: Office Problems

One day at the office, our internet connection suddenly stopped working. It happened in the morning, just as I was about to send an important report to our clients. This problem affected my work because I could not access emails or online documents, which delayed my tasks. I dealt with it by using my mobile hotspot to finish the urgent work and informed the IT department immediately. From this problem, I have learnt the importance of staying calm, having a backup plan, and reporting technical issues quickly to avoid bigger delays.

Unit 7: Future plans

After graduation, I am going to continue my study before starting work. I plan to take a master’s course in Business Administration because I want to gain more knowledge about management and leadership. Continuing my study now will give me a strong foundation and better opportunities when I start my professional career.
