So what this tells us is socialization has a huge impact on the way we learn to experience emotion. For example; I’m sure a lot of us remember playing on a playground and parents telling boys to “suck it up” “stop crying” “you’re crying like a little girl” when they are hurt. More and more people are busy interacting with each other through their gadgets, and that affects their social skills.
