  1. (B)  describe and illustrate the Sun as a star composed of gases that provides light and thermal energy;

Materials-Jar, Aluminum, Scissors, Fairy Lights

Instructions- 
  1. Use scissors to poke holes on the aluminum.
  2. The poster located in the front of the station has information about the stars and Sun. Use the constellation from the information provided to help guide you on making the holes in the aluminum. The holes represents stars in outer space.
  3. Open the jar and place the aluminum foil inside the jar.
  4. Make sure the aluminum foil is placed in the outer edge of the entire jar.
  5. Place the fairy lights inside and close the jar.

Quarter, Flashlight, Wire
Sun, Moon, and Earth Informational Poster and Instructions

Instructions-
  1. Read the Sun, Moon, and Earth Informational Poster about eclipses.
  2. Aim the flashlight towards the wall to represent the sun.
  3. Stand far away from the light, you will represent the Earth.
  4. Move the quarter in front of the flashlight to represent an eclipse. The quarter will act like the moon.
  5. Enjoy the eclipse!

Instructions-
  1. Roll the playdough provided into balls, these will represent the planets and sun.
  2. Look at the solar system model provided and mimic the appearance of the planets into the playdough.
  3. Place each planet in the correct solar system placement and attach them with wire.
  4. Enjoy your very own solar system model.
