The first animal we have decided to include is the Polar Bear. It’s adaptations are it’s blubber (extra skin) and thick fur. The next animal is the Arctic Fox, which is adapted to the cold temperatures with thick fur and a round body shape to preserve body heat. Next we chose the reindeer, adapted to the tundra with its thick fur. Finally we chose the artic rabbit because it is adapted with a thick coat of fur, and can dig holes in the snow to keep warm.

The first plant we chose was the artic moss. It is usually found in the tundra region, and does not have a stem, instead it has little rootlets. The next plant we chose is the artic willow. It is adapted to the harsh tundra conditions and has long silky hairs.
