I am from the scent of freshly made burgers and fries, both made to be juicy and

scrumptious. 

I am the oeuvre of a journal filled with stickers and art, all creative. 

I am the palm tree that waves in the warm summer air, though it may falter, it should

still wave and stand in the ground.

I’m from a shopping place that’s full of little inexpensive treats and big pricey items.

I’m from the veins of the body, the cells, and the heart, though one may break down, the others may try to save it so that the body or the heart of the family is well.

I am the oldest of the other, reigning 3 years of age more.

I am like the color purple, though it may not appease to all, it can still look pleasing to others.

I am from a small cozy home, though not big and large, it may still provide happiness and shelter.

I am like the waves of the glistening ocean, they may be calm or they may be raging.

I am like the blooming flowers of the bush, though similar to many of its kind, it may still be different from the rest.

I am like the scent of fresh air to someone, or perhaps the smell of art.

Though I also may smell like the scent of fur of a furry friend.

I am from a big neighborhood, full of palm trees, fresh grass, and sunny sunshine.

I am like the taste of ice cream, all different and unique to please your appetite. 

I’m from the beaches of sand, where many come to seek and make sand castles.

Where the sunshine shines, where the sunsets arise.

I am from a place full of people, where there are many attractions here to please.

I’m from the state of gold, where many come to seek more.

 I am writing to inform you about the dangers of Executive Order 9066. First, I’d like to tell you that the Executive Order 9066 is unconstitutional and that you should stop it now. Under the Fifth Amendment, you have denied Japanese Americans their rights. You have also broken the Constitution under the 14th Amendment, which is basically giving equal rights to all citizens, including Japanese American citizens.

Moreover, I want you to take action and stop this act of putting people of any sort of Japanese descent into internment camps, for I am sure most or all of us are not spies for the Japanese government. Furthermore, I’d like to inform you of the horrible conditions of the internment camps you are putting us in. In Camp Harmony, there are homes that are the size of a living room where an entire family may be squished together into it as their home. My friend in Camp Harmony has even described the homes in Camp Harmony as an oversized chicken farm. She even told me she felt like a criminal because of the fence surrounding her.

Additionally, people have even thrown rocks at Japanese Americans, even though they are not spies for the Japanese government. Furthermore, I want to address that you have done a horrible act with Executive Order 9066 and I advise you to take action and stop Executive Order 9066. Finally, I urge you to think about how you are putting all of us in America who have Japanese descent into internment camps, even though most or all of us are probably not spies for the Japanese government. Thank you very much, President Roosevelt.
