I'll provide a copy of the pdf above but it is here if preferred. Be sure to annotate and take notes during our class read. Highlight portions of the dialogue that either make the narrator sane or insane. Look for figures of speech and be sure to highlight specific details of the story, specifically dialogue and how the narrator reveals aspects of himself through the dialogue itself.

You will be assigned to a group, groups 1-4. Each group will be tasked with a certain job: 1 prove the narrator is insane with textual evidence, 2 prove that maybe he is sane with textual evidence, 3 copy the vocabulary and write down their definitions, and 4 write down important notes from the story such as characters, setting, figures of speech, conflict, and any symbolization that may be represented in the story.
