In 1975 the Education for all Handicapped Children Act was passed which required all public schools taking federal funds to give equal access to education and a free meal every day for children with physical and mental disabilities. Many years later (13), the Fair Housing Act was passed which made it illegal to sell/rent a property which the seller would discriminate you for any reason. This made it fair for the disabled to obtain fair housing.
