You asked your mom what caused it. She couldn't exactly figure it out. According to her, she exactly followed the instructions and carefully added the ingredients. She even added more baking soda to make sure that the cake will rise. Your mom is now upset because her birthday surprise turned out a failure.<br><br>Task<br>You will help your mom create another Chiffon cake.          <description><![CDATA[<div><br>-<strong>Baking soda</strong>, also known as <strong>sodium bicarbonate</strong>, is widely <strong>used</strong> in <strong>baking</strong>. It can cause dough to rise by producing carbon dioxide.<br><br>-<strong>Too much baking soda</strong> can cause the batter to be bitter tasting.<br><br>-Too much baking soda can cause rapidly rise and then collapse.<br><br>-Too much baking soda can be result to soapy taste with a coarse, open crumb.<br><br>-Through the chemical reaction created by combining <strong>baking soda</strong> with liquid, acid, and heat, carbon dioxide is created. These tiny CO2 gas bubbles allow for soft and airy baked goods such as cookies, pancakes, and <strong>cakes</strong>. <strong>Baking soda</strong> also increases pH levels while reducing gluten.<br><br></div>]]></description>
