Chapter 7: Moose goes to Piper's School, as promised, and Moose is attending a seventh grade class. His teacher is Miss Bimp. Moose then starts talking about Alcatraz and gets attention from his class mates. After class, Moose talks with Piper and Piper walks off into the ladies restroom. This ends the chapter.

Chapter 8: Moose leaves his school and is greeted by two of his class mates. The kids ask about Alcatraz and ask Moose if he can "hit." (This is referring to baseball.) Moose says he can hit and the kids invite him to play a game of baseball. Moose agrees to play for a while.Moose then gets a "double-play" during the game. The game then ends and Moose heads home, and Moose is excited to play another game on Monday.

Chapter 9: When Moose got to his house, he is greeted by Theresa. Theresa gives Moose a note from his mom which says that Moose's mom went to go get a perm. Theresa then tells Moose to "come on," to meet Theresa's brother, Jimmy. Before the two go, Moose gets his baseball glove, and the two go off. Once the two get there, Jimmy says hi to Moose and Jimmy introduces Moose to his marble throwing machine. Jimmy and Moose then play ball. After a while of playing, Moose meets Annie whom seems to be paying attention to Moose and Jimmy then her work she has to do. Moose asks if she can play ball, Annie grabs a glove and throws a fastball. Moose is surprised and runs up to Annie and gives her a big hug. After a while of talking to Annie, Moose heads home.

Chapter 10: This chapter was very/incredibly short. At home, Moose is checking the clock since he has to wake up his dad at a certain. Moose sits on his bed and opens his book a bit, then Moose hears a knock. He runs to his door and sees a person by the name of, Mrs. Caconi. Mrs. Caconi gives Moose a phone since he got/has a phone call. On the phone, a person named, Mr. Purdy, asks if Moose's parents are available, since it's about Natalie. Moose asks if Natalie is okay and she is okay, it's just that Natalie is "not ready" for the program she is in. Moose doesn't feel too good at school, but since he plays baseball well, he makes friends. A very sad thing that happened is that Natalie was not "good enough" for the school program. That was very sad.
