Imma also include videos of people talking about the consequences they have to deal with. Then I'll add some ways to stop. Where to get help.

My app helps people accept each other for who they are. In my app you would first take a small quiz to track your progress throghout the game. After the small quiz they would be mini scenerios based on the players previouse answers that the game beliefs would best benefit them. The user would see scenerios of either the happy life they could have. also there would be a happy tune playing in the background. Based on there quiz. But for people that are struggling to accept others the game would show other peoples side of the stories. while playing a sad tune on the background. From the victims point of view. SO that they can understand the full affect of not acepting others. the user who has trouble accepting there self can make desitions to change there future. All decistions would lead to a happy future just that every question would help them build to there perfect lifes. For the person that has trouble accepting others there would be diffrent things they can do to either affect another person good or bad. Then they will see how there actions affect others.

So when meetings people, and solving mysteries/quests with them, you can talk to each other, even unmute like if you were on a social media app. But this time, you can also do pop quizzes, or ask questions to each other, about your life, and how you could improve it. While also, In the chat chill with each other, you could even possibly meet each other to a safe location in real life,

Teens may think that everyone they see might do the same thing. My app will show them not everyone is going to abuse them. And my app will help them get there confidence or if they tell people and people don't believe them my app will help them talk to someone. My app will have different things it depends on what they choose like lets say they pick to talk to someone because they want to tell someone what is happening to them but don't have someone to talk to they can video call video call with a therapist so they can talk to a therapist Through video . And you won't have to pay you can get like 10 minutes to chat .

For example it will help teens with their work that relates to a topic or lesson that their struggling to understand by asking questions of their learning and having videos for them to watch and give them questions to answer after a helpful video and if they understand and was able to answer all of them correctly then they get a game of their choice as a reward.

What my app does is that it asks the teens using it a set of questions and based on the answers. A random character will come out and tell them some advice on what they should do and how the should do this instead of this. What my user sees is a calming mood with nice calm music in the background. Then the character talking could have a soft voice when talking so that it adds to them just being relaxed and so so calm.

"The increased isolation and stress related to COVID-19 may also lead to higher rates of teen depression, anxiety and even suicide, especially in teens who were struggling with mental health challenges prior to the pandemic."

According to CDC it is talking about that Covid-19 is hard for most people because they have loss for a family member or friend and they also have grief. In the website it says "Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, you might be unable to be with a loved one when they die, or unable to mourn someone’s death in-person with friends and family." This says that because of this pandemic you can't do things that you were able to do before. Another piece is "Adolescents may also experience grief in ways that are both similar to and different than children and adults. Adolescents may experience significant changes in their sleep patterns, isolate themselves more, frequently appear irritable or frustrated, withdraw from usual activities, or engage more frequently with technology. It is important for parents or caregivers to engage with their adolescents over their grief to promote healthy coping and acceptance." This shows that Adolescents affects kids and adults differently because of their loss.

The problem im designing an app for is teen oppression, and deppression. According to

Understanding Anxiety and Depression for LGBTQ People

"If you’re LGBTQ, I’d wager a bet that you’re good at reading a situation to determine how much you can safely be yourself. This skill, while adaptive, comes at a cost because it was developed in response to being subjected to high levels of persistent prejudice and discrimination."

https://adaa.org/learn-from-us/from-the-experts/blog-posts/consumer/understanding-anxiety-and-depression-lgbtq
another example is from mayo clinics teen depression article.
"Learned patterns of negative thinking. Teen depression may be linked to learning to feel helpless — rather than learning to feel capable of finding solutions for life's challenges."
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/teen-depression/symptoms-causes/syc-20350985
another example is from life works stating "As we said earlier, when a child’s self-esteem is low, it can affect their physical and mental wellbeing. Many teenagers with low self-esteem believe that they are unlovable, undesirable, worthless, and more. As you can imagine, this can affect a child’s mental health considerably, which, in turn, impacts their physical health."
https://www.lifeworkscc.com/may-national-teen-self-esteem-month/#:~:text=Low%20Self%2DEsteem%20Can%20Lead%20to%20Negative%20Impacts%20on%20Teens&text=Puberty%20and%20hormonal%20shifts%20often,new%20emotions%2C%20and%20much%20more.
Acording to all three articles deppression and self esteem issues in teens is a real issue and in somecases it is linked. That is the issue im targeting deppression and self esteem issues due to race, gender, looks, or sexuality.

The reason someone would want to use this is because of the fact that it will not only help teens mentally, but also because when teens are having a rough day, my app will make them so calm. This also solves the problem because my app not only would give that teen advice, but also because my app will have them focus on what's going on in the moment instead of anything that's happened before.
