It's his first year of middle school and his first year of any public school. Auggies big sister via always sticks up for him and helps Auggie since no one at his school seems to. Since his first day of middle school kids there have been bullying him because of his facial disorder. Even though he is bullied he doesn't let that bother him. Once you get to know him he is very sweet and understandable. Because of his past he has a little bit of trust issues. Take Jack for instance, he was pretending to be his friend until he hung out with julian. Then he was being rude and was saying that he only talked and hung out with auggie because Mr.Tushman told him to.
