         <description><![CDATA[<div>Porfirio Diaz was in power since 1876 and he brought on many economical changes, including foreign concession in mining, railroads, and other sections of the economy. This was not all positive as foreigners were controlling large sections of the economy. The political system was also corrupt. Diaz ruled with an iron fist.</div>]]></description>
