Through these interactions, people can better understand each others religions and cultures.
Living in a diverse society also allows us to be more understand and adapt easier to our surroundings as we have to be understanding to other people of other races and religions when they perform religious rituals or traditions which are being passed down from generation to generation.
2. One negative outcome of living in a diverse society is people tend to stereotype others and categorize them according to races and religions like "Malays are rude" or "Chinese are loud and irresponsible" just because they met a person with not a very good attitude.
3. What can we do to further maintain the peace and racial harmony in Singapore?

This allows them to gain more knowledge and become wiser when it comes to making a decision because they know more about what is happening.
The other positive outcome is that people can enjoy things that can be found in other race an religion like food and can expose themselves to different type of things or find their interest.

2) The negative outcome of living in a diverse society is people will sometimes have conflicts over different opinion of something. It is because other can be born with a different environment, culture and experience that they have a very different view on some issue.
