 Both made a big impact in the Civil War.  Harriet B.S made an impact, By making Uncle Tom's Cabin (Life Among The Lowly) and "Starting the war"- She made the book so that people around America could realize the horrors of slavery; of course it DID make SOME people mad (Cough-south-Cough Cough) and then some people assumed that it started the war. She also worked in the Civil War as a medic I think. Harriet B.S Harriet. T on the other hand was a slave who escaped slavery 19 TIMES (i'm counting being in slavery as the amount of times being near a slave plantation if the topic is a black person) to help friends, strangers,  and family escape their owners.
