Prometheus and Epimethues were their names. Prometheus sympathized with the humans.Prometheus was convinced that gifting fire to the humans will help them thrive, and made a request to Jupiter. However, Jupiter was convinced that mankind will become powerful with this gift, and rejected Prometheus’ plan. So, Prometheus set out to help humankind on his own, finding reed and setting off to the sun to fulfill his mission. In spite of Jupiter’s wishes, Prometheus founded the spark of fire that he searched for. He soon introduces fire to humankind, causing humans to thrive as they cook food, and seek warmth. Soon, Prometheus caused the humans to welcome a new golden age, as he teaches them and helps them advance and evolve.Jupiter finds out that Prometheus has disobeyed him. Consequently, Jupiter is determined to punish Prometheus. He orders Vulcan to create a perfect woman, and ordered the gods to bestow gifts to her. After Pandora was given many gifts from the gods, one being curiosity, she was given to Epimetheus from Jupiter to be his wife. She was given a mysterious box to add on to her many gifts, and was warned by Athena to never open it. She grew curious about the contents within the box.Pandora grew so curious that she opened the box enough to release horrible things to humankind. Death, disease, and many other things.
