It seems to be a trend of students loosing out on sleep, family time, and to me most importantly, personal time to enjoy life. I find it unfair how I can sometimes go home and be forced to miss practice over a 10 page packet that I wasn't taught because there wasn't enough time in class or other days having no homework at all and not having anything to do because I planned for there to be homework.

The best solution that I see to relieve the stress on students is to do away with homework all together, or set up a plan to where there is only one day of the week in a situation where homework is needed, then homework is distributed. This would also be helpful due to situations where a student doesn't do there homework, they are already behind on the subject and loose interest once they are too far behind.
