i used the text tool to add writing onto/around my picture which can add a more deeper meaning to the image and for concepts you can add to the concept to explain or show what text designs you want to use.

how to change the size

you can change the size of the text by pressing on the text you have added and selecting "set font size" there it will give you a list of numbers ranging from smallest to biggest which changes the size.

how to change the shape

firstly select the shape, then press warp text and you can change the shape of the text for example an arch.

i designed a new player sprite this time adding legs arms ect so it looks like a human i added walking animation by adding another slide its the same picture as the sprite but i cut the leg to show 1 step i then pasted the non cut picture (creating 3 slides so far) this was to show the character took one step i then added another slide but cutting the other leg to show another step.

i designed a rough layout for how i wanted the HUD to look like, i added a health bar which depletes when the player gets hit or takes damage. Under it there is a ability bar which when the player picks up an ability the bar goes down the however long the ability lasts for. opposite the health bar there is a hot bar this is where the players items will be shown when the player cycles through their hot bar whatever item the players holding the box around the item will get bigger showing that the player has that item out. At the top right corner there is a map here will show the map of the room and small flags will appear on the map implying that their is a task or objective to be done in that area

In this shot, the background is underwater and the whole scene appears 'fresh'. The intentions of the ad are trying to make the water look refreshing. To the right of the bottle there is a pink circle stating that the bottle is 100% recycled plastic. I used fruit and vegetables to show that it is a healthy logo using tomato strawberry apple broccoli and a pineapple with glasses this is to show a bit of excitement onto the logo so it may also interest the younger audience with a funny pineapple.

In this advert you can see Ryan eating an unhealthy pack of (Emmas) hula hoops and Luca sees it and is shocked. Luca then goes sprinting down the stairs and running after Ryan to eat a healthy alternative. The theme of this AD is an action shot; it's fast pace an intense. This can also be entertaining and can influence people to eat healthily.

I've chosen fantastic food AD 3 as my final idea as I directed it so I felt more involved as it was my idea its also a funny video and fast paced.

on this news page you can see a header stating what the website will entail with it being the latest thing to happen in the sport. under it also has a photo, this is to be eye catching and also has the main subject. scrolling down you can see more in depth information about the topic by also adding interviews and possible outcomes to this change. on the news page we can see the header saying "f1 officially announce Hamiltons Ferrari signing UPDATE" it is ment to get straight to the point and placed in bold font to make sure its the first thing you read. with the photo it shows lewis Hamilton with the Ferrari logo lingering behind hinting a sudden change. the branding of the website "GPfans" stays across the whole of the website with the other pages having a red font as the title. the logo has a checkered flag to signify that it is a racing news website.

the first design for the front cover I got a picture off google of Lewis Hamilton doing burn outs on his last race with Mercedes this is eye catching as it was a memorable moment for lewis , Mercedes and f1 fans in general so that is why I chose it as the front cover because people will see it and want to read as it has an emotional moment and is a very talked about moment in the sport meaning motorsport fans will want to pick up/ read the article inside. I added the name of the website/ magazine to show the branding. of the magazine I put the text in bold blue lettering to match with the theme and so it is is the most visible words on the page. I used the magic wand tool to select the smoke coming from the car and dragged it behind the text layer creating the effect is actually on the picture. On the side of the page i added 3 phrases to grab the attention of somone who would be picking it up as it is relevant to the picture and it is also impressive stats that lewis had gotten with the team so i added them as lewis and Mercedes were a phenomenal partnership and history was made with the 2.

for this front cover concept I got the 2024 f1 grid photo which was taken at the start of the 2024 season this is appealing as it shows all the drivers and is eye catching with all the colors and also the race suits. I then used the magic wand tool to select the top drivers heads and then copied and pasted creating a new layer. I then added the "formula news"writing behind the drivers heads as most magazines have this effect. under the drivers there is an empty space here I used it to add information that could be interesting and thrilling. in bigger words I added "new season new drama" "7 different race winners" "record breaking season" these are on bigger words as they are ment to be read first under the bigger words there is description of what it is for example under "7 different race winners" I listed which drivers had won as it was the first time that so many drivers had won in a season.

for my first design i added a menu at the top where 4 buttons will be places in the middle and on the far left i will add the website logo and also the name of the website to show branding and so the user can remember the name and logo incase they want to return to the website. under the menu there will be a header about the article this will be in big bold writing as it is the first thing that should be read it gives brief description under it explaining slightly more detail. under the header there will be 3 paragraphs this will be the article to the right of the article there will be a picture relevant to the article.

For this design I moved the menu to the left side of the page so the article is full screen. This way the user can see more. On the menu I also added 5 buttons to direct the user to other pages within the website. To the right of the menu there is the title of the article and under there is a tagline describing briefly what the article is about. under there is the main article then to the right of the article there is photo relevant to the article. this whole layout is user friendly as if the user wants to switch to a different page they do not need to scroll they can look to the left hand side of the page and press a button and with this layout you can see the title, tagline, article and photo without scrolling

For the 3rd design I put the menu back at the top with 4 buttons in a line instead of 2 by 2 layout the website name is towards the left side of the menu this is easily sewn as it is at the top of the screen and next to the buttons so when pressing a button you are eye level with the name of the title so subconsciously you will read the website name. under the menu the title of the article will be in Bold writing as it should be the firs thing to be read when passing on the article. under the title there is a tagline this will e in slightly smaller writing but still in bold writing this gives slightly more information about the article. placed under the tag line there is a picture relevant to the article that will take the attention and interest to continue reading the article. right of the picture there is the main article where the most information will be found the explains in detail what the article is. on the far right of the screen there is a devider where there is a heading saying "latest" this show other articles the user ma be interested in reading. there will be a small picture relevant the that article with a small heading under it that look intresting and appealing to read.

for the layout I went for the 3rd layout as I liked the "latest" section on the front page which will take you to more articles to read while also being able to see the main article that is displayed first. I also chose this layout as it is the easiest for the user to read and also manage as it isn't too overwhelming and isn't difficult to read where the article is. and if you want to read more you can scroll down. at the menu at the top it has the branding of the website with 2 racing flags on each end of the banner to show it is racing theme.

this is my concept for formula news logo 1 I imported a picture of a helmet outline and added "formula news" under the helmet with the text being slightly arched so it follows the curve of the helmet.

with the 2nd concept I added the same helmet from the 1st concept as it keeps the race driver theme but this time I separated the formula and news from formula news and places the formula at the top with an arch effect going over the top of the helmet and news at the bottom which is also arched. the text is also in bold so it is clearly read.

for the 3rd concept I created a whole new design with formula directly at the top of the logo arched over the top of 2 over lapped racing flags and directly under is the words news and opposite each side of the news there is 2 fire tires to signify fast racing. for extra effect I added a finish Lin racing strip and placed the corners behind the fire from the tires. this design is colorful and eye catching to ensure attention.

this is my 3rd front cover and i chose this design as it is significant to whats happening in the article it also best suits the main topic in formula 1 as fans want to see hamilton win his 8th title with ferrari so i added the championship trophy in the corner and made it look like lewis is looking to the future as this shows lewiss desire to win the 8th title. on the title of the page i have added "the charge for the 8th in red" this was used because its also quite ominous as lewis will be charging towards his 8th title in ferrari that is why i added "in red" as ferrari is a red team at the top left corner the student voice logo is there and placed under the trophy is the logo to formula news. there is also an arrow pointing up in the middle of the screen as the user can simple press the screen or scroll to reveal the article below.
