These duties range from budgeting and policy creation to advising the NMI board of directors on a number of human resources and staffing issues. He concurrently serves as co-founding President of Fairhaven’s Dominica Maritime Registry, the official international ship registry in the United States for the Commonwealth of Dominica. Over the course of his career, Eric Dawicki also founded the maritime security and safety company Transportation Security Logistics and co-founded the Washington, D.C.-based think tank Center for Maritime Leadership. In addition to his status as a third mate for any gross tonnage with the United States Merchant Marines, he holds a Master in Public Administration from American University in Washington, D.C. Outside of the maritime sector, Eric Dawicki has a strong interest in architecture and has restored 11 historic buildings.
