He’s had lots of different jobs but has struggled to hold on to one. After the breakdown of his marriage he is living with his parents while he waits for a council house. He’s looking for a 2 bedroom so that his son can have a room when he comes to stay. He has access to Connor, aged 10 every other weekend and on a Wednesday overnight.  He likes to take Connor places when he has custody rather than staying at home, however this is limited due to his lack of income. Barry has had trouble with drugs in the past but has managed to stay clean since his son was born. She has worked for the university for 20 years in the catering department. She lives in Knightswood and has 3 grown up children, 5 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Cathy was due to retire last year but enjoys the company in work and the interaction with customers. The money also helps her and her husband who was diagnosed with COPD 2 years ago visit their daughter’s caravan in Dunoon as often as they can. Cathy was a bright girl at school and got good grades but did not pursue further education as she did not think it was for ‘people like her’. She likes to read the science section in the metro on the way to work on the bus but has never thought to find out more about what goes on in the building that she works in.
