"One moment of patience may ward off great disaster, one moment of impatience may ruin a whole life."

My interpretation of this saying is that patience is the greatest virtue of all. Related to the saying 'good things come to those who wait', what I understood from this saying was that if you are patient and determined, you will do well in life. If you rush and are impatient, you could end up ruining everything for yourself and possibly others.

"I have bought bread and I have been given Red roses: How happy am I to hold both in my hands!"

I think that this person is saying that he his grateful to be able to have both the bread and the flowers. I think that this is significant because maybe at this time you could only afford 1 thing, but now, the person is able to buy many things. He is more fortunate than he was at another time.

"The greatest revelation is stillness"

revelation is "the divine or supernatural disclosure to humans of something relating to human existence or the world."
From this definition of the word revelation i can tell that this quote tells that to know yourself, to know the reason behind existence is to be still. To be still translates to being patient. so to have a reason we need to be patient
