These final phrase really engaged us because we are happy that the boy could find a family that really loves him and finally could find a home. He was dirty, covered in sores, and so thin that his rib-bones pushed against his skin. He was hungry. He´d nearly stopped bothering to cry”. This is a part of the short story that really got to me. It describes how the baby felt by not being take care of and by not having anyone. He really had to go through a lot by being just a newborn and he probably didn´t even understood it. So on the 21st anniversary of that date, we had a big celebration.” This phrase made us feel so emotional because he finally found a family that cares enough about him to have a celebration. They surely made him feel loved and cared about. Because our country is something so important in our lives, we grew up there, we learned about our cultures and we achived a close bond with the country in general. Losing your country would be something terrible and very paiful, and obviously hard to face. In such a situation I imagine that one of the biggest effects it could cause would be discouragement, not wanting to do anything all day, because of how bad you feel.
I think that he would recover from that damage, because  even if it's something horrible and hard to heal, it’s not imposible.
