i don't think i would want to go because i have a risk of dying and plus i would kinda have no food or water. If i had kids i would not wanna risk my kids life because i want them to have a healthy life and a long life and i do too. Also it's 2,000 miles long and it would take awhile to get to the end and there are many mountins that are hard to climb and that are steep. It would risk a lot of hope to go through -mila

I would not make the journey because the road is full of dangers like poisonous snakes and water contaimanation plus the journey would be like two years long.

i would go cause i would go to calafornia and get gold.

I would not take the trail because it is a very dangerous. The cars were not even invented yet.

I don't think I would wanna go on the Oregon trail because it can be scary and hard to do. And it would take a lot of hope to go through that. Also I don't want to risk my life because I want to have a good long life and I would want my kid to have a long and healthy life. I also would not want to go on the Oregon Trail because i can be dangerous for the animals and also dangerous for me because if one of the animals crash into something me and the animals would get hurt and can get seriously injured or get really hurt and can end up in the hospital or in the middle of no where and then we would have to walk and leave the animals alone with no food or water to help it survive and be healthy. I also would not want to do that because there can be a big storm or a really rainy day and we would be without a lot of stuff -Jaylee

i think i would have gone on the trail because I would have started a new life and have money. But I also think i wouldn't do it

-I would migrate west on the Oregon Trail because I would love to see all the cool landmarks on the trail. Also, I would take the trail so I could go straight through the country and all the way to California to "strike it RICH".

-If I found any gold, I would go back to my home country and donate some to the people who didn't want to move west, and then continue my journey to wherever I were to go.

-Another reason is it would be a fun and productive experience because I think I would love to go camping (I've never ever been camping ever.) and also I would learn how to camp. So that would be very helpful if my wagon had been broken or one of the oxen/horse/mule had got hurt.

These are some reasons I might NOT go.

-I might run out of food and die. Also, if I ran out of food I would have to use cannibalism and that would be kinda scary.

- I could get really hurt because on the trail, there would be poisonous snakes and my water could get contaminated, and plus, the journey would take like a billion years.

-My friends and I could get really hurt and it will tale a very very very very very long time to heal. (and plus, it will take a trillion years :( )

I Would take the Oregon trail because.....

I could make some new friends on the way
I could restart my life and have a fresh start
I would see my cousin
Because of all of the gold, if I find it I could have money
It will be a fun learning experience
I would learn surviving skills
Those are all of the reasons why I would go on the oregon trail

I would not go on the Oregon trail because it could risk your life and it could be very dangerous like you can die you can get very sick and even die from hunger and drinking dirty water so that is why I think that going on the Oregon trail is very dangerous and not safe to go on that.

I would not go cause you can die be alone be strainded and it would take two weeks to get there and deal whith stampideds like think before you do things are what can happen and bear chases crossing rivers in a pile whith aligators and vilonce you can look at your friends dieing which is emotional and you can break your bonesand be in real real real real pain or lose half of your body from a aligator.

Would not go on the Oregon trail because you could risk your life for maybe a little thing but you can also die by starvation drinking dirty water and many other bad things so that Is why I would want to go on the Oregon trail.
