This book was read to your child in their Language Arts class. The book is told from two different people. A girl named Nya and a boy named Salva. The book takes place ins Southern Sudan. Throughout the book we are taken on the two's stories about surviving with little water and through war. Salva stories starts in the year 1985 and Nya's starts in the year 2008. This word web will mainly be worked on together in class. There is a quote about Water from the book A long walk to water. Each lesson we will have a question that helps guide the lesson. that question will be included in the word web as well. Students are only responsible for writing words to connect to the question and quote. At the end of the lesson the students will be asked to write a paper based off the information their word web.
