We’ve got everything except a beach - but even the sea side is close by with the sandy dunes and other coastal resorts like Blackpool only around an hour’s drive away.

In Manchester there are many things to do. For culturally, the whole amount of galleries and museums is at your disposal – Whitworth Art Gallery has recently been named UK Museum of the Year and the Manchester museum is a classic (not to mention we have the Imperial War Museum, Museum of Science and Industry, People’s History Museum. Basically, whatever you’re interested in, there’s a museum for that). From big commercial cinemas (there are 3 in the city centre ) , all the way to the Palace Theatre and the Royal Exchange. The Royal Exchange also offers amazing deals for students and under-26s – We’re also home to the biennial Manchester International Festival, and the yearly Christmas Markets. Beyond that, you’ve got the run of multiple bowling alleys, indoor sky diving and skiing, fantastic pubs, Central Library, and the Trafford Centre. You’ve got all of the big city feel.
Manchester has the fastest growing food and drink scene in the UK right now .There are options to suit literally every occasion and budget, from 10euros taster menus, to street food and pub grub. Wherever you live there are quality restaurants easy to reach.
