         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Activity goal</strong><br><strong><em>Through group discussions, we deeply explore and reflect on traditional gender roles and society’s expectations of gender, aiming to enhance students’ understanding of gender issues and encourage students to improve their critical thinking skills from the perspective of film art, combined with academic theory.</em></strong><br><br><br><strong><em>Activity steps</em></strong><br></p><ul><li><p><strong>Group composition and topic selection:</strong></p></li></ul><p>A.Students are divided into groups of 3-5 people each.<br>B.Each group chooses a topic related to gender roles and social expectations. For example, analyze gender representation in a specific film, or discuss gender roles in a specific cultural context.<br><br></p><ul><li><p><strong>Theoretical preparation and data collection</strong></p></li></ul><p><a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://A.Team">A.Team</a> members collect relevant academic papers, film cases, social and cultural research and other information.<br>B.Theoretical frameworks used in preparing discussions, such as gender performance theory, feminist film theory, etc.<br><br></p><ul><li><p><strong>Discussion within the group</strong></p></li></ul><p>a.&nbsp; Group members engage in in-depth discussions around selected topics.<br>b.&nbsp; Discussion content includes but is not limited to the display of gender roles in movies, the impact of social culture on gender roles, changes in gender issues in movies, etc.<br><br></p><ul><li><p><strong>Exchange of ideas and reflection</strong></p></li></ul><p>a.&nbsp; Each group member shares his/her views and insights and engages in brainstorming.<br>b.&nbsp; Exchange opinions among group members and explore the connections and differences between different viewpoints.<br><br><br><strong><em>Discussion requirements</em></strong><br></p><ul><li><p><strong>Depth and breadth:</strong></p></li></ul><p>a.&nbsp; Discussions should be in-depth and comprehensive, covering multiple aspects of the topic.<br>b.&nbsp; Encourage different perspectives and perspectives.<br><br></p><ul><li><p><strong>Effective use of data:</strong></p></li></ul><p>a.&nbsp; Use collected information effectively to support your opinions.<br>b.&nbsp; Ability to critically analyze and evaluate materials.<br><br></p><ul><li><p><strong>Communication and respect:</strong></p></li></ul><p>a.&nbsp; Be respectful and open in discussions.<br>b.&nbsp; Encourage interaction and communication among group members.<br><br></p><ul><li><p><strong>Creativity and Originality:</strong></p></li></ul><p>a.&nbsp; Encourage innovative expressions and unique perspectives.<br>b.&nbsp; The presentation content should reflect the original thinking of the group members.<br><br></p><ul><li><p><strong>Reflection and Self-Assessment:</strong></p></li></ul><p>a.After the activity, each group member engages in personal reflection.</p><p>b.The group as a whole conducts a self-evaluation of the effectiveness of the activity.</p>]]></description>
