The parts I like are in the chapter 'Good Times'. It describes how David's life was like before being abused. It reminds me of a beginning of a movie, when everything is fine before the situation. What catches my attention about the book is how scary some parts it is. This is interesting because it makes me wonder what illness does his mom have. What is also interesting is that his own brothers aren't helping him .They are also treating him like a slave. This in my opinion is crazy and selfish of them.
   My group members also agree with me. Yet, Shenghao says that an interesting part for him is when David's 2nd youngest brother makes lies so he can suffer more. Also, when he chants to him " That boy is going to die", over and over. I agree with Shenghao because it is an awful part. Even his mom brainwashed a child to convince him that Dave's a terrible boy.
