How did you build your earthquake proof structure? Explain..

I would build the earthquake proof structure by making it in only three layers since you have to make it very lightweight so that it won't collapse when an earthquake is happening. Also my group and I are going to use only a few sticks and marshmallows not only because it would have more weight but also because then we don't loose so many points.

I built my structure by building the base as a rectangle then building up like a square also we will use 15 marshmallows and 15 tooth picks

Well we are going to build the base of are tower as a rectangle and we are going to use 15 toothpicks also 15 marshmallow.Also we are going to make two layers high or more.Also the top of the tower is going to be flat.

I will build my earthquake proof by making the structure weak but the structure but it will hold together and will have a weak roof and a strong base so it can resist the earth quakes.

i would build my earthquake proof structure by making 4 levels of floor, make a small hole sideways in the marshmelo so that the tooth pick can move around in the marshmelo side to side

I would build the earthquake proof house very short because if it's to tall it's going to fall over. more of the big side not tall.

I built my earthquake structure by using connecters and its gonna be 5 storys tall and my group and I are gonna use 50 marshmellows and 50 tooth picks

The way i build my earthquake proof structure by puting a light roof becuase if an earthquake stirkes the roof can fall and also not to build it that high.

To build my earthquake proof structure i will use maybe about 10 marshmallow and 15 tooth picks. i would make sure its not so tall and that its not so heavy. if its to heavy it might fall over so it has to be light weighted.

i would build my earthquake proof building by having the base heavy and the building has to be light we would use 50 toothpicks and marshmellow in all which is 25 tooth picks and 25 marshmellow

i built my earthquake proof structure by starting with marshmallows and broke all 4 in half then broke my 4 tooth picks in half and stuck them in the half marshmallows and put 4 half's and redo the same structure for 3 stories.

I will build my earthquake proof structure by making a strong base, light roof, and light walls/ sides. It will have at least 2 - 3 layers. Also my structure will consist of 6-10 marshmallows and 10-15 toothpicks. But we're not going to make it too tall because it will collapse easily.

The way I would build my earthquake proof structure is by making it two stories tall I would do that because if I make it taller it woul shake more and it would make it harder to stay standing.

I would build my earthquake proof structure with a diamond base the structure will be 2-3 floors I will use not to many toothpicks and marshmallows and we will cut the marshmallows in pieces so the structure could be light weighted.

We will build our structure by not adding too many layers, 3 layers at the most. We also have to make the base strong and sturdy. The base is going to be shaped like a baseball diamond. We will cut the marshmallows in half to reduce the amount of points being taken.

i build my structure by adding a smaller house so that way the earthquake would affect the house that much and also i would add light roofs and shock absorbers
