1. A good and effective communication is as simple as both sides or parties involved being able to understand each other and have the general message gotten across. As for efficiency, the use of simple and short sentences is enough, no need for complicated words.

2. Everyday if you wish to interact with someone. We need it if we wish to create bonds and relationships, as well as exchanging information with each other.

3. The greatest challenges is the different cultural norms, not everyone perceives the same message or symbol the same, this also comes with the difficulty of the language barrier and the cultural barrier, for example, slurping noodles in a cafe can be good for some countries since it means it is delicious, or disrespectful.

4. 7/10

1. Effective communication happens when the communicators can understand each other, and know what the other is talking about in the most brief or the most understanding way possible.
2. We need it because we talk to people on a daily basis, and good communication is a great way to express and gives the best version of ourselves.
3. The greatest challenges are the ways of speaking like stumbling on words or long pauses or words like "Umm..." or long pauses that stalls the communication process, and makes it awkward or less effective.
4. 5

Good communication is important for everyone because it allows us to connect with other people and present our intentions with as little misunderstandings as possible. We need it to live functioning lives because good communication is the basis for solid relationships and human beings are social creatures.
3. I'd say the greatest challenge to good communication is a lack of trust.
4. I'd rate my communication at a solid... 5/10. Maybe 6 on a good day.

1. Effective/good Communication is when a person has the ability to properly and efficiently portray and express their own thoughts in a way that makes it easy to interpret. And this is not limited to language and oral communication, because there are also ways to interpret emotions and story through the acts of different art forms, body language, etc.

2. Communication is an important part of our day to day life. Not only do we use it to convey our expressions to other people but it’s also a way for us to somehow bring out the emotions and creativity found within ourselves.

3. I personally think that the most difficult challenge when it comes to communicating thoughts and emotions is by doing so in the forms of art. Art can be very subjective and so when being used as a way to communicate a certain emotions or plot, one must know how to balance everything to create a heartfelt and entertaining scene. Putting every piece in the right place in order to truly bring out the purest emotions that can reach the audience and viewers.

4. I would have to say my communication skills would be a 8/10. In terms of language, my english is quite good but my Tagalog can do so much better. In communicating or expressing thoughts and emotions (Via describing how I feel or trying to portray certain feelings onto stories and literature) I do have to say that sometimes my mind can go blank and it often feels like word vomit. Hence is why sometimes I end up saying things that may seem too vague or just extremely blunt. Whether the things I say are good or not

1. For me, good communication is when a person is able to be honest with the person they are talking to. They will be able to consider their thoughts, and emotions without getting offended and by putting everything into consideration.

2. We need good communication because as I've said, it will allow a person to know what the other is thinking, their opinions as well as their feelings about a certain matter. Good/effective communication is needed when talking to people you work with, family, friends, strangers, and relationships.

3. I think the greatest challenge in communication is when we will come to the point that we need to prove something, especially if we can only use words. Another is when pointing out something to people whether it is offensive or not because people are different, others may not find something offensive and others may not find something offensive like for example, talking about experiences, sexuality, life problems, or as simple as being honest.

4. Honestly, on a scale of 1-10, I could say that my communication skill is 5/10 because I can be really straightforward especially if I am mad or I don't like what the person is doing. I find it hard to point it out without provoking them even more or get them less hurt.

It should be in our best interest that we express ourselves in the clearest way possible in order to be more efficient with how we deliver our thoughts and ideas to other people.

3. Good communication requires good understanding from both parties. If one wishes to communicate properly, they must also be able to read the room in order to choose the wording that best expresses what they wish to convey.

4.

1. How would you describe good/effective communication?

Communication is an exchange of thoughts and perspectives, essentially data. Effective communication is present when both parties gain something insightful about the other. This can be done when you carefully articulate your thoughts and maintain a certain level of respect towards the person you are talking to.

2. Why and when do we need it?

Most conflicts arise from miscommunication. That being said, this can help others to be understood and feel heard, and aid in unity. Problems can be solved when everyone communicates in an effective manner.

3. What are the greatest challenges to good communication?

I am a shy person, I sometimes feel like this gets in the way of forming bonds with other people. Being very reserved can stifle relationships. Another is lack of empathy towards how the other party may receive the news. Close-mindedness also plays a role in miscommunication- everyone has different opinions influenced by the culture and environment, we must be able to maintain an open mind and heart when talking to others. Some are quick to shut down contradicting points of view, but we should always challenge "truths" in our world to verify its significance. A notable one is the lack of similarities, it can be hard to break the ice when you and another person have nothing in common; it makes it hard to form a rapport.

4. Rate your communication skills on a scale of 1 to 10.

I would rate myself as a 7 in non-verbal communication, and a 6 in verbal communication. When given the chance to write down what I want, I can collect and organize myself. Whereas, in oral communication there are surges of ideas in my head all trying to get out at once and the end result is often not the best. I actively try to improve my skills, and at my old school we had public speaking which definitely helped me a ton.

1) The primary key to effectively sharing an idea or concept to another completely different individual is the right use of good communication. What makes good communication "good" is the ability to express your initial intentions. This means having a clear-cut case/idea/concept you want to present, a good reasoning to support it, and counter-arguments to any possible faults other people may see. However, this does not mean that a good communicator must always be stubborn in every interaction. Working around flawed ideas and accidental faults as a team effort and giving others the opportunity to communicate their own input is the best approach to mediate any conflicts in a group setting

2) To broadly illustrate what "good communication" is any further, we must first understand why it is necessary for us to hone the skill, along with the applications that varies (which is determined by time, place, and context). In some cases, there will be times where it is easier to hide your original intentions under pretenses, half-truths, or any other under-lying defenses that hinders you from truly expressing your beliefs. If a situation like this arises, it is better to vocalize your true objectives, especially in a workplace/school environment, in which collaboration can only happen when each individual is aiming for the same goal.

3)
1- hesitance
2- anticipating failure
3- ambiguous objective

4) 7/10

1- Good and effective communication comes as a result of several factors. Firstly, both parties should be respectful towards each other's opinions and views. Secondly, they should convey their messages in a cohesive and clear manner. Thirdly, they should both be open minded when analyzing the views of one another. And lastly, they should be good listeners towards each other.

2- Good communication is most important when critical matters, controversial topics, or a conflict is being discussed. However, it is also vital in day to day life such as talking with friends, relatives, or colleagues.

3- The greatest challenges to good communication include the following: people being entitled to their opinion and are unwilling to accept or listen to other views, people feeling nervous or hesitant to express feedback, and an inability to form explanations or messages clearly.

4- I would rate my communication a 7/10. My level of communication tends to vary based on the person I'm talking to. If I'm with someone close such as a relative or friend, then I would communicate with them more openly than if I were with someone I just met (or if it is someone who I find 'intimidating'). However, if I am communicating with them through text or messaging (like this), then I would have an easier time to think about my wording.

1) To describe good/effective communication, both parties must try to understand one another with their intent and choice of words. Can simply by keeping the conversation simple and straight to the point, as well as asking questions if need be.

2) We need it to share information via what our thoughts on the subject or mater is. For example, sharing information to a group project or simply by telling someone what you desire (like food for example :>). We use it by engaging a conversation towards another party, the need to express ourselves to someone via by words and to the development of social interactions or relationships.

3) The greatest challenges for good communication would be hesitation, choice word and tone. For example, one might mistake or misunderstood your intent by wrong choice of word or tone of voice in a sentence/conversation. Hesitation can also make misunderstandings, simply by not stepping up and gathering the courage to say what you really think, desire or what you intend to do straight forwardly.

4) I would rate my communication skills at an 7 over 10, for I do tend to hesitate at times to engage in a conversation to share information or what I think about the subject matter. Though when in risk of having multiple misunderstandings if left alone, I would without hesitation engage. I would say I have a big vocabulary and an understanding where to place them in a sentence or conversation.

Even though the speaker will do the talking, the listener must be active to acknowledge the other person's ideas or concerns.

2. Communication is constantly needed in our daily lives. It's not something we can't escape from as we actively communicate with one another. Likewise, communicating with one another benefits both parties. This will help them understand each other, breaking the wall between them and avoid future conflict.

3. There are a lot of factors that cause challenges in communication. Sometimes lack of attention to the speaker will confuse the listener. Poor choice of words can also cause misunderstanding to both individuals. Simple language barriers can be another factor to consider.

4. If I were to rate my communication skills it would be 7 out of 10. Although I could listen well, I still have trouble engaging and replying. I tend to think for too long about what I should reply to not overshare nor be bland. Although, I do try to word my sentences properly if my idea or a piece of information must be passed on.

1. Good/effective communication is when a person is able to convey their thoughts clearly and the other person takes the time to listen and understand what the other person is saying.

2. Good communication is important in every conversation because a lot of misunderstandings will happen without it.

3. One of the greatest challenges when communicating is when you are talking to another person who is not listening to you attentively because they are distracted. Another example is when the person does not have an open mind and refuses to understand other people's point of view.

4. I would rate myself a 7 out of 10 when it comes to verbal communication and an 8 out of 10 in written communication.

1. How would you describe good/effective communication?

Effective communication is basically the success in passing ideas that are transcribed (written or typed), spoken (explained through talking), or gestured (through hand movements or symbols). Simply put, as long as both parties understand each one’s expression of thought and feelings, the communication they’re having is effective!

2. Why and when do we need it?

We need it because as persons, we have desires, fears, and a bunch of inexplicable emotions that we may feel during certain situations. Communicating with others can help us share feelings with them, which can lead to the gaining of new information and experiences that may better our lives. Because of that, we need to communicate every day, even if it would be to ourselves, so that we can free our minds of excessive thought and push through with our daily activities.

3. What are the greatest challenges to good communication?

Some problems that may lead to ineffective communication are: (1) language barriers, (2) jargon, colloquialism, and other informal languages that the receiver could not understand, (3) lack of interest or the right emotion to feel in the topic/s talked about, and (4) physical or mental disabilities in communicating verbally/ through text. However, these issues could be resolved by doing research on what one does not know, or “feeling” the mood of the receiver, so that one could at least understand his or her emotions despite the misunderstanding.

4. Rate your communication skills on a scale of 1 to 10.

I think I would give myself an 8. When I write down super broad ideas, I often forget how to write sentences using correct grammar, punctuation, and other parts of speech. Also, my excitement in talking frequently gets ahead of me. I understand that there are still more years for me to get the hang of this, and also the hang of jargon and languages that may popularize in the future. I really wish to improve in this subject!

1. How would you describe good/effective communication?

Communication is not just about having the ability to speak. Good and effective communication is about having intention. There is a major difference between just saying something for the sake of it, and saying something with purpose. Being receptive to the person or people you are conversing with also helps establish good discussions and heathy relationships. A conversation involves 2 or more people, if one does not give regard to the others’ comments or responses, the conversation will not be effective.

2. Why and when do we need it?

We need to have good and effective communication not only in formal discussions but also in our every chats with peers. Good communication skills are essential in conversations for the simple reason that it helps us to understand information more expeditiously and accurately.

3. What are the greatest challenges to good communication?

A big hurdle in having good and clear communication is not being able to put your thoughts into words. It’s hard to jog your mind of the proper word to use at the right moment, at least it is for me. Another big thing is the lack of confidence when speaking especially in front of a big crowd. It can be daunting having to raise a concern or opinion when you’re surrounded by people. And these things, however little they may seem, can bar you from having a good flowing conversation.

4.
