"I Have A Dream" is a speech by Martin Luther King. This text is aimed at the African Americans living in the US that are discriminated in everyday tasks because of their skin color. "I Have A Dream" is about is about the conflict between the white and black people due to the way black people are treated. During the time this was written, racial equality did not exist and the segregation between African Americans and white people which caused a lot of violence. Martin Luther King wrote this text because he wanted equality for all African Americans and he wanted the United States to unite as a whole. He wants the audience to understand the harsh treatment they receive on a daily basis. From this text, the audience can learn how even though African Americans were put through such pain, they did not lose hope as they were strong and brave and they continued to fight for equality no matter what obstacles they might encounter. While King wanted the audience to feel that black people are eager for equality in the beginning, in the end he wanted them to feel that white and black people will finally be united and happy. This is shown through the use of repetition, metaphor and symbolism.

"I have A Dream" is a speech by Martin Luther King Jr. This text is aimed at black people in the US who are being discriminated against white people for their color and race. Also, this speech is for the government to realize what is going on and make an action. This speech is about Martin Luther King Jr's fantasy for equality between races. The author wrote this speech when there was a huge discrimination against the African Americans. King is trying to prove how he is hopeful and eager for equality and unifying with the white people. He also wants people to realize the harsh and cruel things African Americans have been going through. In the beginning, King expected for the audience to feel eager for equality and at the end, King expects the audience to feel hopeful and unified. This is shown through the use of metaphor of the bank of justice, repetition of the quote "I have a dream" and allusion to the song "My country 'Tis of Thee".

"I Have A Dream" is a speech by Martin Luther King. This text is aimed to give hope to African American people in despair of not having equality. African Americans were treated unjustly and mercilessly by brutal police forces and white people. Those experiences usurped hope from them and induced fear, which caused despair amongst them as the unending barrage suffering keeps bombarding them repeatedly. This speech reminds them how people have fought and succeeded for the equality of the two races, which was shown through many examples of allusions, metaphors and repetition.

"I Have A Dream" is a speech spoken by Martin Luther King, Jr. There is one main intended audience of this speech: the black and white people that are for racial equality. The speech "I Have A Dream" is about the current imbalance of equality between the white and black people. This is due to growing in the society of the South as a black child, where segregation was rampant and discrimination was everywhere, so much so that even the law made sure that white people remained superior in society. King expects his mixed audience to feel curious about him and his speech, and makes them feel inspired to create change in society by the end. This is done through the use of symbolism, tone and anaphora. King's message is that people should not give up on justice, but to stand up for it.

“I Have A Dream” is a speech by Martin Luther King. This text is aimed at everyone who is around the world, who are 19 and above, who are racist against blacks or the people who have no idea what is really happening to the blacks. “I Have A Dream” is about the unfair rights that the blacks have and the way they are being controlled by the government and not by themselves. When “ I Have A Dream” was created, there was unfairness in the world between the whites and the blacks, the blacks weren’t in control of their own lives unlike the whites, they lived in a poverted island, however the whites were wealthy. What inspired King James into writing/saying this speech is he wanted everyone to know what was really happening to the blacks and to convince people to agree to change this law and make blacks have the same rights as whites. I think King James want the audience to feel/see the injustice acts of the government towards the blacks. We should learn to respect and love people and not judge them by their skin color nor their nationality.

This text is a speech, called "I have a dream" written by Martin Luther King. This text is aimed at black and white people who want to fight for the freedom of the blacks. The speech attempts to convince people that the blacks have not had freedom for a long time and inspire people that are now trying to fight for their freedom. At this time in history the white people in the world were making a devision between the blacks and the whites which connects to Martin Luther King's life because he was one of the blacks who was affected by this devision. King wrote this speech to prevent any further devision and take away the current devision. Martin Luther King's overall message was that racism should be abolished and people of all colors should come together to make one society instead of separate societies. King takes his audience from being hopeful and desperate for change to being more hopeful and unified using metaphor, repetition and symbolism.

The text I Have A Dream is a speech written by Martin Luther King Jr. It is directed towards black people in America who have been treated unfairly and want equality, white people who also want equality for black people, and lawmakers. The speech tackles the topic of racial segregation and the lack of equality in America between white and black people. During the time this speech was delivered, around August 28, 1963, there was a large amount of racial segregation in America. Black people were not given the same rights as white people, including the right to vote. Black people were not treated fairly, nor were they seen as equal. This speech was written because Martin Luther King Jr. wanted to bring equality between white and black people to America. He wanted to end segregation and bring peace between white and black people. King uses anaphora, such as the anaphora of the phrase ‘I have a dream’, metaphor, like the metaphor of the racism in select southern states, and allusions, such as the allusions to the emancipation proclamation and many biblical texts. This text first makes the audience feel outraged and appalled for a lack of equality between white and black people, then makes them feel eager and ready to start change in America’s inequality and segregation, finally leaving the audience feeling a sense of hope for equal treatment between white and black people, and a sense of unification towards the same goal.

In 1963 Dr.Martin Luther King Jr. wrote the speech "I Have a Dream"
.The speech is directed at black people in America of all social classes and financial standings, it is also directed at pro-segregation white people from the southern states, and powerful lawmakers who condone racism, in the 1960’s to the present time period. This text discusses the outstanding issue of racism and fighting for equality whilst combatting hatred, and was written in a time period when these topics were prominent issues on a daily basis. The 1960’s was a relatively modern time period, however black people were still unable to vote and were still treated in a subhuman category, slavery at this point had been abolished for almost a century, however Dr.King noted that the rights of African Americans had made little to no advancements. This speech was created to encourage politicians to fight for black people’s rights and for black people themselves to reflect on their treatment and what type of treatment the truly desired, in order to create a dignified outrage against the limited action taken by lawmakers. The original tone of the speech, though it was indeed a declaration, was a gentle welcome to note that all citizens, that every single person should be united in the sense that racial segregation is unacceptable to the advancement of American society. This is emphasized through the manipulation of metaphor, allusion, imagery, and tone, as to derive the desired emotional outcome.
