Children doing play improves the children's physical, social, environmental and cognitive skills. This helps for their study, work and they can build good relationships with their teachers, parents and their classmates. This also helps children's language, listening and communication skills, this is like children's speaking, children get to make their own stories up, they can learn new words and listen to each other. It helps children with their confidence, social skills, self-esteem and independence. Children develop physical health and they get their skills up such as balance, their fitness, coordination and agility. When children developing their social skills they do this by exploring their feelings, they get to express themselves and they also work out their emotional aspects of life. 
D2- In child-led play it is the adults or guardians job to support the children when required so they can watch and wait for the children. The adults follow the children's lead when in child-led play. When the adults are there watching and waiting it gives them to chance to let the children have their own space if the children request to get help from the adult then the adult will step in. It is the children's job to have their own freedom and the children can choose what, where and how they wish to play with and who with. The children get to explore and learn from their own thoughts and their ideas. Child-led play helps the children learn in a way they fun and it helps when they are intrested in the activity they are doing. 
In Adult-led play the children's role is to follow the instructions from the adults so they can join in the group gamesand when they follow the instructions the children also follow what the other children are doing so if they all follow the instructions then it will all go well. The children will be practising their communication skills, social and emotional skill, listening skill and language skills, they will also be using their solving problem skills. In Adult-led play children will be in more higher risk activities, they will experience their emotions in their settings, children will learn new learning ways, children will get taught in different ways, children will learn about how to grow up and the community and the children will definitely learn how to follow the instructions which the adults give. In Adult-led play the adults make the children have fun and the adult is giving the children instructions to follow whic allows the children to learn better. The adult helps the children learn how to do step by step, follow all the instructions and giving gentle reminders. The adults control the session and they make sure that the children are having fun and that they have the cahnce to play in adult-led play. 
D3- Physical play gets the children out and about and whilst they are outside or playing games in the classroom they are burning calories from being active. The children love playing but it "helps children understand their bodies for what they can do rather than what they look like". When children doing physical play it will help them with their self confidence. When children play outside and do physical activities it helps with their sleeping and eating patterns. The reason why children do physical play is that it can change the children's mood and it can make them happy. 
Imaginative play is open ended and the children are in a safe place where they control their own things they do as they are being creative and being imaginative. Small world play is part of imaginative play and they get to act out while using toys and stick puppets. The children get to use their imagine and be creative to come up their new ideas. It is good for children to use their brains, it helps them to understand things and the imaginative play aslo helps with the children cognative skills. 
Creative play helps the children with their physical, cognative and social skills. It helps with their language and communication skills especially if the children are doing creative play together. It helps with their imagination, socail, self-esteem, self confidence and their creativity. When the children are being creative they can use their work by showing their emotions which is good for them. 
C4- In schools and nursery for physical play it is all inclusive so if the children don't want to join in straight away they can join when they are ready, the children will all be the similar age and no matter if the have a disability or a different culture they can join in. If the physical play activity is indoors for example playing with sand and water, all the tables should be moved out the way and they should the right equipment, such as buckets or trugs. When playing outside for physical play for example playing on scooters, we need to make sure that the scooters work and they are not broken before the children play with them. When dancing at nurseries and schools the teachers should make sure that there is space for them to dance so the children don't injure themselves. Imaginative play is usually changed regularly, the child usually engage to which imaginative play they want too. Imaginative play helps children learn about different professions also day to day situations. The children get to act out real life situations, all children are included. In nurseries and schools children get to do fun activities and children can also use play houses, tree houses and other hand on products such as the mud kitchen. Creative play children do things like drawing using pencils, paniting using different colours and different types of paint brushes, music children will need space and make sure the place is tidy before they start dancing and if they use instruments make sure they use them right.

In early years settings children will use space hoppers. Children use these when they are on grass or tarmac. Children usually play with space hoppers in the summer or when the weather is not rainy. Space hoppers are used to help children use their legs to help with their muscles. Space hoppers are only to be used outside and 1 child at the time can use it. Children must share the spcae hopper and let children have a go, this is why practitioner should always watch the children to make sure they take it in turns. 
Imaginative Play
In early years settings children will play with pushchairs, children will get a baby doll and place it into a pushchair and pretend it is either their baby or their little brother or sister. Practitioners will help the children if they get things stuck to the pushchair or children will speak to them if the pushchairs are broken. Children will only be allowed to use the pushchairs when it is not raining. Childing playing with pushchairs is suitable for imaginative play because children can imagine pushing a child in a pushchair and it is very good for when they get older.
Creative play 
In early years settings children will paint, children will do this inside in the creative area. Children can use their creative and paint any pictures, usually in nursery children will paint something for their mummy and daddy. Practitioners will keep an eye on the children who are painting because they need an apron on when painting and after they have finished painting children will need their name on their pictures.
