pip and estella where brought up by a single parent both did not have there actual parents around . pip was brought up by his sister and had a very normal life wheas estella has been brought up to ruin boys lives . estella l;ove is unfaithfull whereas pips is true and forever

The parents aren't close with their children. This is show by Juliets Mother having to call the nurse so that she can talk to her, 'nurse, come back again'. Her Father is quite distant but protective as he is not fond of the idea that Juliet is to marry Paris at such a young age.

Romeo ex is Rosaline which he seemed very fond of. When he meets Juliet he completely forgets about Rosaline. Juliet has never fallen in love before and never had any previous experiences.

there families are different

due to the class system but in romeo and juliet the differences between the families are due to genrations fighting and hating eachother that it is normal for conflict between them

Pip and Joe were brought up by hand, by Mrs Joe, so pip and joe can relate to each other, as they both experience the same treatment

juliet and her mum are not colse at all but romeos mum and dad are close , nurse is like juliets mother because juliets actual mum cant speak to her without nurse in the room . fryar lorance trys to bringh the two waring families togetther by marring romeo and juliet . the twos previous relationships have not been very good especialy with juliet as she did not love paris . In great expectations Pips family consists of His sister mrs.Joe Gargery and her husband mr. Joe Gargery. Pip is very close with joe. This quote is from when joe pays off pips debts and nurses him back to health after pip left him to become a 'gentleman' "Which dear old Pip, old chap," said Joe, "you and me was ever friends. And when you're well enough to go out for a ride—what larks!" (57.19)

This shows that even after pip left joe, joe still looked after him and treated him like a son. Whereas mrs.Joe (his sister) beat pip and brought him up by hand along with joe.

Whereas in estellas home she is not beaten however she is only miss. Havishams tool which means there is no real love. She is not even miss. Havishams child.

However in Romeo and juliet both families love their children however Juliets mother like estella does not treat her very kindly and finds it hard to speak to her. which is why when she talks to her about marriage she talks to Juliet about mariiage and calls back the nurse it shows this because she cannot speak to Juliet on her own.
