One idea is to hold one on social media - let them know what apps are out there that the kids are doing, what they are for, and how the kids actually use them. Educating parents is key.

Thought is to have back to school night like we usually do, although I won't present. We'll have information available and I'll greet everyone who comes in. 
Then about 3 weeks into school, have an open house with scheduled time blocks so teachers can go over classroom expectations, how to use dojo, powerschool, etc. 

The expectation IS that we have both of these. We've combined the requirements for open house WITH back to school night so we only did 1 night instead of 2.
