PILLARS OF ISLAM: HADITH JIBRIL

In conversation between Prophet Muhammad and Jibril , Jibril asked the prophet

5 pillars of islam 🌙

-Shadah: saying & believing Allah is the only God and prophet Muhammad is His Messenger

-Salah: praying to Allah 5x day

-Zakat: giving small part of your money to people in need

-Fasting: not eating/drinking in Ramadan to learn self control

-Hajj: a trip to Mecca that muslim do if they can once in their life

Belief in Allah, Malaikat and Kitab

BELIEF IN ALLAH:

Belief in Allah is the foundation of every Muslim's faith. It means believing Allah is the only Creator, Sustainer, King, and Planner of everything in existence. Therefore, we must worship Allah alone with His attributes and always strive to seek His pleasure.

BELIEF IN THE ANGELS (MALAIKAT)

Angels are the creation of Allah, they are created to obey His Every Command

Angels have been appointed specific tasks by Allah. Some of the examples are:

-Jibreel is entrusted with delivering revelations to all the messengers.

-Malik is responsible for overseeing Hell.

-Ridwan is entrusted with the care of Paradise.

-Israfeel is tasked with blowing the Trumpet, which will signal the beginning of the Day of Judgement.

BELIEF IN KITAB (BOOK OF ALLAH)

Examples of these books and the messengers they were revealed to include:

-Taurat, which was revealed to Prophet Musa A.S.

-Injil, which was revealed to Prophet Isa A.S.

-Zabur, which was revealed to Prophet Daud A.S.

-Qur’an, which was revealed to Prophet Muhammad SAW.

the reason Allah revealed the Qur’an to mankind is mentioned in Qur’an, in Surah Al-Ma’idah (Chapter 5, Verse 48)

“And We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a criterion over it. So judge between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations away from what has come to you of the truth.”

Understanding Struggles of Prophethood

In Surah Nuh, Prophet Nuh AS called his people to worship Allah alone and warned them about the consequences of disbelief. However, they rejected his message and insisted on following their wrong ways.

Prophet duty:

-teach people about Allah and only to worship Allah is the only God

-warn their people about judgement day

-improve their morals and akhlak

- become a good example of behaviors for people to follow

Without prophets, people easily go astray and lose their connection with Allah. Prophets are sent to remind people of the truth and help them avoid punishment in this life and the hereafter.

Understanding Qada' & Qadar

Qada' and Qadr refer to the belief that everything happens by the will and knowledge of Allah.

-Qada: Allah’s eternal plan

- Qadr: refers to how that plan unfolds in reality.

Believing in Qada' and Qadr helps Muslims trust Allah in both good and bad times. When something good happens, they must be grateful.

Even when facing hardship, they should be patient because Allah has a reason for everything. This belief gives peace to their hearts and prevents people from losing hope.

However, belief in Qada' and Qadr does not mean that humans have no choice. People are given the free will to make their own decisions in life, but everything they do is within His knowledge.

-kisah nabi ibrahim: he's very respectful to his dad, even though his dad is idolmaker, and he's polite when confronting his dad about the idols

-we need to be polite to our parents, and be humble towards them

-we need to respect our friends too

-be careful of our speech , because it may backfire/impact other negatively

-conclusion: no matter who is it, we need to put our adab first. don't be selfish and keep showing kindness towards others

Role play activities 👉

Everyone shares any story regarding Ramadan. Any experience, or advice, or a particular lesson learned.

• Don't judge the book by its cover, everyone has their own struggles during Ramadan.

• always spend time beribadah with famil, you never know when Allah loves them too much.

• to do list. Be a responsible adult and list down the beneficial things yiu can do during Ramadan.

• always have a clear niat in your heart, insyaallah Allah will always guide you.

• even the elderly are dilligent in their ibadah and amal, we as youngsters shouldnt make excuses.

• Always be ready to help and assist parents during Ramadan.

• Reminder to do nisfu sya'aban pray as it is very beneficial.

Attributes shapes a good servant of Allah.

• Eat what's allowed in Islam

• Food must be clean and healthy

• Helps strengthen our body and soul

• Receives blessings from Allah if good and healthy food is consumed

• Avoid what is doubtful/forbidden

2. Prioritise parents

• Respect and listen, always.

• Take care of them even in old age

• Obeying them brings Allah joy

• Don't be rude and offend them

• Make prayers for them everyday.

3. Ikhlas (sincerety)

• Do good things with Allah in mind, no flexing.

• Honest actions and honest words.

• The smallest deeds grow in size with sincerety

• Allah knows what's in our hearts

• The sincere are cherished by Allah.
