Before joining BMO Capital Markets, Doo Sik Lew was a trader with KGS-Alpha Capital Markets, which is also in New York City. He worked at the company for eight years, trading and structuring Agency MBS, specifically collateralized mortgage obligations (CMOs). He was among the first to join the startup boutique broker-dealer, supporting its growth into a formidable platform on Wall Street. Before KGS-Alpha Capital Markets, he was an analyst at Barclays Capital.

Doosik Lew has two degrees from the University of Pennsylvania: a BS in finance and a BS in mechanical engineering and applied mechanics. He graduated magna cum laude in both, even receiving the Ralph Teetor Award in 2006. Away from work, he enjoys photography and watchmaking. He is a member of the Horological Society of New York, and the Plumier Foundation, and attends New Frontier Church with his wife and two young boys.
