      <title>3/21/17 SMCC/Unity Opening Shifts Only by SMCC/Unity</title>
      <link>https://padlet.com/SMCC/pvlgbdgue3r0</link>
<description>I&#39;ve audited the time cards of all staff who open SMCC and Unity and there have been far too many late openings (not all staff have been late, and I’ve noted those who have been on time). Folks, we are here to serve the community and we can&#39;t do that if we can&#39;t even be courteous enough to be here on time for our patrons. Effective immediately, if anyone clocks in late (“late” is defined as any time listed after the When to Work schedule) you will have a meeting with me. If it happens twice in a row, I’ll talk to Brandy about removing you from the opening shift and shifting your hours to a time that is more suitable. Folks, I’ve done front desk for a long, long time and, outside of true emergencies, there’s no excuse good enough in my book to allow frequent tardiness.
We are here to perform specific jobs and when one of us doesn’t follow through it affects the entire machine we have here. Please take the time to understand the importance of fulfilling the duty and responsibility of being on time, each and every shift. </description>
