This is the start to one of my favourite book series it’s a comic strip but it is like a book it is funny and silly. In this book it introduced monkey who was in a lab but he is very grumpy.he was shot out of a pod and crashed on this planet when he landed he claimed that the planet is his and named it monkey-opia weird name but monkey started to boss everybody around he says he is going to take it over but bunny says who and what army.also in the story he meets someone called skunkey and he is a siantist he works with monkey to take over the woods he makes stuff like a massive mole which was under ground destroying the underground then came out of the ground but he painted it black so the driver could not see so they crashed.

This book is about animals and where they live. For example the blue whale lives in the sea but comes up to get air. A Nile crocodile swims in swamps and rivers finding zebras and gazelles, in Kenya. A fruit bats lives in trees and actually suck on fruit not blood! A platypus is a unique animal, a half duck and half otter. It is a mammal but actually lays eggs. Finally, a killer whale is a deadly sea predator eating penguins, seals and even small whales. Which animal do you think is the deadliest? Answer...probably us!!! By Haydn Walker

I may accidentally put in some of the next book’s stuff in, so sorry about that.

This books stats with our crew drifting away into space.
Arthur now has a mission of getting to do a stupid sentient computer to brew him tea, but he gets a liquid which is not entirely unlike tea, so, that’s getting somewhere.

The heart of gold (the ship) is struck down by Vogons (angry people who blew up the Earth) and Arthur uses a machine in the ship to bend the time space continuum (don’t ask how that works) and they end up in the middle of a gnab gib (it’s backwards), but they avoid it by using the readily available time travel to accidentally to a remote planet the size of around Jupiter which is actually a planet synthesis planet.

On this planet, Slartibartfast, creator of Norway (I’m getting to that) tells Arthur the story of deep thought.

Long ago, there was a race who tried anything they could to get the meaning of life given to them. They made a machine called deep thought, and it gave them the answer. The answer is……

42

Obviously, this confused a lot of people, but deep thought gave them blueprints to the machine that would give them the ultimate question. So, they build a planet synthesis company, and the machine was made, but it was destroyed to make a bypass by the Vogons ten minutes before the answer was given. The machine was the Earth.

The crew somehow finds themselves on a solitary planet and they go on a walk and find a very, very primitive race there and they soon find Slartibartfast’s face in a glacier. They are on Earth, about a million years into the past.

Arthur and Ford, the other’s were somewhere else, are shocked but after a while Arthur tries to teach the race (the early humans) to play scrabble. After that fails miserably, Arthur has an idea. Everything alive that was born on Earth has the question in their minds somewhere.

Arthur has the brilliance to think to taking out scrabble letters from a bag will spell out the question. It spells this:
Whatdoyougetifyoumultiplysixbyseven?
Did you find it. Yes. That is the question.

For context, please use the other links below

-~…^<-[Links]->^…~-
The hitchhikers guide to the galaxy - https://padlet.com/KS2Heighington/class-6b-22-5-23-lvits5sivevqd7jy/wish/2603613382

Fearless Flynn and other tales - Hannah Metcalfe

This book takes you through tales beyond everything which are extraordinary! The tales are : Fearless Flynn, Tom's Shadow Dance and Thirteen Crows.

Fearless Flynn:

When reading this tale it made me feel a bit funny because it was about skeletons. Not only, but it described them as 'bulky' . The illustrations were a bit scary as one skeleton had an eye falling out of the skull (which was also a bit disgusting) but the skeleton greeted a young boy named Flynn and resited a poem saying if he didn't win a game the skeleton would take his skin which was a bit odd as skeletons can't really take skin of people. In the end Flynn won and was taken back home to where he originated. It wasn't my favourite tale but it did leave me wanting to know what would happen next.

Tom's shadow dance:

This tale is about a guy called Tom and his parents are quite rich. One night he hears a guy play the fiddle and he gets so attached to it he can't go away. Then all of a sudden shadow figures appear on the ground with no owner and one of them is a guy with a fiddle. Tom gets intrigued and the next thing he knows he is lying on the floor outside. Motionless. By that time the unknown figure of the fiddle man follows him into the human world but is never seen again. And some people don't know if this story is true or not... I liked this one because it left me on a cliff hanger like the first one but it was more fascinating and it had me wandering where the fiddler was going or who he was meant to be.

Thirteen Crows:

Just looking at the title of this tale made me thinking it must be very unlucky. We are currently reading a book called Room 13 but there is no Chapter 13 or Room 13 and thirteen is an unlucky number. Moving onto the crows part, crows are actually classified as the most unlucky bird and if you see one you will have bad luck for the rest of the day. Anyway, this tale is about some people living in a cottage and its a bit like the first tale but not skeletons or challenges, instead it is a bit odd and weird as they win gold and then a boy drinks something and I kind of got lost reading this tale there was just so much going on at once. I didn't really like this tale because it just didn't seem right to my liking.

I didn't enjoy this book much it was a bit complicated and it just left me feeling clueless. I would recommend this book to someone who likes creepy stuff and wanting to be left feeling clueless on what is going to happen next. I would also aim this book to be for the older ones.

My friend Wilf has shown me a book series called Bunny vs Monkey and I’ve been sharing it with him for a couple of weeks. I love that these books are set out like a comic strip, I haven’t read a book like this and it’s really funny.

In the story Bunny and his friends live in a forest and throughout the book is little bits of what they are doing each day. There is a skunk that is very clever and he makes inventions and tries to get the forest to himself. Monkey tries to use the skunks inventions to get rid of bunny and his friends. There is also someone called action beaver he’s funny because he does silly things and in this story he put an invention on his head which made him very clever.

I really enjoyed the layout of this book and how the comic strip is broken up with pictures making it easy to just read a few pages when I get time.

I’ve asked my mum if I can get the whole series for my birthday and I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens next .

I really enjoyed reading this book. I would recommend this book to people who like murder mystery stories. For example in this book they go into an abandoned gym and they get locked in it so they are trapped.

I really like this book because it is VERY funny! It is about a kid called Greg and his very wimpy life. He has a friend called Rowley who Greg has a fight with him but end up becoming friends again. I would recommend this book if you like to laugh. The author Jeff Kinney has wrote lots of Diary of a Wimpy Kid books and they are all equally as good!
By William.
