The cats and rats would also increase because they have more space to live.
If a competitor in the ecosystem then the penguins population would decrease even more than it already is.
The Galapagos Penguins are endangered because of human interaction, poaching, and human introduced rats and cats invade their space. They compete with tigers, themselves, and other species of wild dogs.
Dholes eat very quickly and commonly live in large groups refered to as clans.
The Dhole is currently endangered because of over hunting during the 70's. Many british trophy hunters enjoyed hunting down the dhole, as well as native people killing them to protect livestock. Some Indian villagers went as far as to find dens and club them to death.
If this species was removed many hooves animals would wreak havoc on the native plant life.
An added competitor would further decrease their population because of the scarcity of food due to domestication of many animals.

They mainly eat fish, squid, octopus, and sometimes smaller seals. sharks and humans are their main predators. They compete with sharks for sometimes fish and seals.

It's a Carnivore

It's diet consists of Elk,Moose,Bison, and Deer

It's both predator and prey

The grey wolf has Brown Bear as competition but does hunt in a pack to protect their territory

Depending on the wolves location their name changes

A way to increase wolf population is to limit wolf hunting

If the wolf is removed the prey of the wolf will begin growing in numbers and begin eating more plants and carrying capacity will decrease

If a competitor is placed in the environment it'll probably be killed off by (a) wolf pack/packs

Hunting and Trapping has caused the species to become endangered eating more plants and carrying capacity will decrease
