I am a Creative Writing and English education major, so you could say I'm pretty interested in stories and literature. Though physical books are still a very popular medium to consume literature, eBooks has changed the field a little. My question is what is your opinion on eBooks vs. physical books and how long do you think we will still use physical print (or if will stand strong foreva!) and what other technologies do you imagine will become our primary source of story telling?

I think printed books will be around for a least a little while longer. There's just something about holding an actual, physical book in your hands while reading a story. With that in mind, though, I do think that podcasts can become a leading technology for story telling. With the rise of listening to stories and documenting everything online, podcasts just seem like the next logical story telling format.

Story telling has been a thing since the world started, so I think it will always be around. Just as technology has changed storytelling from books and paper, to phones and social media, I think it will continue to evolve until reading a story out of a physical book with real pages will become a novelty sort of thing.

I believe story telling with the use of technology will be alot more accurate than traditional textbooks because their are more sources online to back up information that is being presented.

Sadly, I honestly think that people will almost fully transition to using eBooks. I personally prefer holding a physical book, but find myself using my nook app to read just because it is so much more convenient. Ebooks are so much more readily available, so I think that they will become the primary source of story telling.

As technology has evolved, it has increased the amount of ways to share stories. People can make blogs, podcasts, YouTube videos, etc. to connect with people all around the world. On top of that, there are still the ways outside of tech to tell and receive stories, such as verbally and through written books. All in all, I think technology has just broadened the amount of ways to
