Larry the Lobster sells fishhook repellant to his fish friends out of his van but he wants to expand his operations. He plans on going to the coral field some nautical miles away to knock on some doors. This neighborhood is known as a popular fishing spot so it would be a popular item. The residents that live here aren’t the best off financially but this product is life or death for them. Those in government have seen what was going on with Larry’s product and is not too happy, they believed that fishing keeps their little town from getting overpopulated so they may make legislation banning them. Larry has also found a warehouse near factory that could store over 1,000 repellents and produces 5 fish hooks an hour. The citizens of Coral usually carry umbrellas around to protect themselves but this has proven inefficient

Paddy is a potato farmer and aspiring fry entrepreneur. He has very fertile soil (environment) and always receives compliments on his potato quality. But raw potato price is dropping (economic) and his profits are decreasing. Luckily, his town is attracting lots of Dutch tourists who love fries (social). The local government is encouraging new fry stands with tax cuts for potato farmers like Paddy, and helping fund their opening costs (political). They’re also decreasing the regulations on food safety (legal, although perhaps not good). Excited to start his business, Paddy has been saving up to buy the very best new fryer that was just released (technological) and begin his promising career.

Toby the Tortoise has developed an innovative cooling vest designed to help desert animals withstand the scorching temperatures exacerbated by climate change. He's eyeing the vast Sahara Square as his next big market, where the demand for such products is high among the local fauna struggling with the heat. The economic landscape is promising, as many creatures have little in the way of cooling solutions and are willing to invest in their well-being. However, Toby faces potential legal hurdles, as the Desert Council is considering regulations on new animal-made technologies to ensure they don't disrupt the natural habitat or confer an unfair advantage in the harsh desert ecosystem. Additionally, the sourcing of sustainable materials for his vests is becoming increasingly difficult, with global supply chain issues affecting availability and driving up costs. On the social front, Toby's innovation is garnering attention, but he must convince traditionally skeptical desert dwellers of the vest's effectiveness and durability. Meanwhile, technological advancements in fabric and cooling technologies offer Toby an opportunity to enhance his product, but he must act quickly to stay ahead of competitors eyeing this emerging market.

Dingo owns a business that sells dog bones. He sells these bones at the dog park and they are known to be extremely healthy and important in dog oral hygiene. After being successful at his local dog park, he decides to expand his market to a neighboring park, where the dogs are bigger and badder. They have stronger and bigger teeth. (sociological) Because of this, Dingo must create larger and less malleable, thicker (bigger and badder) bones. This park is in a wealthier area with higher income, allowing Dingo to increase the prices of his bones. (economic). At dog shows, Dingo has a stand to sell his bones, but there are strict FDA regulations. In creating his new, bigger and badder bones, Dingo must work with local politicians and food organizations to make sure his bones are up to standard. (political, legal).

Oliver the Octopus's Eco-Friendly Ink Enterprise

Oliver the Octopus had a groundbreaking idea: to harvest his natural ink production in an eco-friendly way and sell it to the sea creatures and beyond. With his startup, "OctoInk," Oliver aimed to revolutionize the ink industry from the depths of the Coral Cove. The Coral Council, a governing body of the reef, had strict regulations on natural resource extraction to prevent exploitation. Funding OctoInk was Oliver's initial challenge. He considered various models, from crowdfunding among the coral community to seeking investments from the dolphin venture capitalists. Balancing costs and setting a fair price for his eco-friendly ink was crucial to attract both sea and land-based customers. The concept of using natural ink was new to many in the reef. Oliver had to conduct community outreach, demonstrating how his ink was produced sustainably and how it could support the arts and education within the reef, fostering a stronger community culture. Oliver innovated a gentle extraction method that was sustainable for future octopus generations. He also developed biodegradable ink cartridges for land-based customers, ensuring that his products were not only high-quality but also environmentally friendly. To sell his ink in human markets, Oliver had to ensure compliance with international trade laws and environmental protection standards. This required obtaining several certifications. The foundation of OctoInk was built on environmental sustainability. Oliver made sure that his ink harvesting process was renewable, with a minimal ecological footprint.

Benny the Beaver created a business selling chocolate in his city of Beaverton. Benny was making a significant amount of money doing so. However Benny ran into an unprecedented problem which was that politicians have decided that chocolate should be made illegal. Anyone who is found to buy or sell chocolate is subject to a minimum fine of 10,000 and 10 years in federal prison. This law outraged the citizens of Beaverton and they demanded that this law be eradicated. Politicians did not listen to these demands and insisted that anyone who protests against their laws will receive capital punishment. This decision resulted in the citizens of Beaverton launching a rebellion with the aim to overthrow the current government and establish a new government that revolves around chocolate. The economic system in Beaverton is obsolete and the majority of the citizens believe that their society would function more effectively if their economy is centered around chocolate. This revolution gave birth to a new political party named the Chocolatiers. This revolution sprung into a 10 year long civil war between the original government and the chocolatiers. This war unfortunately ended with the chocolatiers being defeated and Benny the Beaver was forced to seek refuge in a nearby city where is friend Squirrly resides. Benny had to give up his dreams of becoming a chocolate tycoon and instead launched a joint venture with squirrly to sell organic nuts in a wealthy massive forest. Benny and Squirrly lived in harmony for 20 years together until one fateful evening Benny was tragically murdered in the forests monthly nut throwing fight.
