I am King James I and I was the first Puritan King of England and I took over from the great Queen Elizabeth. I was the first King to translate the bible into English and we called it The King James Bible. I was honored to be the King that founded one of the most prominent settlements in the newly acquired land of America. I named it Jamestown.

Charles I (1625 - 1649)

I believe in the divine right of Kings which meant that the struggles of Parliament over taxation, religion, and governance continued to go on. When I would feud with the Parliament so I would dissolve the government body lots of time without their consent causing the English Civil War. My forces were called Royalist or Cavaliers but my enemies were Roundheads lead by Oliver Cormwell.

Oliver Cormwell (1649 - 1658)

I was the military leader during the English Civil War against Charles I and am a Puritan Army General and because of my great success in the Civil war, I was crowned as the Lord Protector. When I abolished the monarchy, I changed the government by establishing the CommonWealth and I lead the conquest of Ireland and Scotland. I wanted to name England as the dominant European power and I am strict on the social control and I wanted to purify the practice and structure of the church.

Charles II (1658 - 1685)

During my rule, I was very stressed and had a hard time because I was exiled to France by Cromwell because of the threat I posed to the throne. When Oliver Cromwell died, I returned to England and rightfully took back what was mine and restored the Monarchy and I was beloved by most of the people. However, I had my share of conflict like The Great Fire o London in 1666 and resurgence of the Black Plague. I wanted to heal the destruction caused by the Civil war causing me to peruse a policy of religion.

I am the Roman Catholic brother of Charles II and I would be the last Roman Catholic King of England, Ireland, and Scotland because Charles II had 12 "illegitimate" children. Because most of England was Protestant, They weren't very happy with the news that I , another Catholic King, and caused me to have challenging problems. I was challenged with religion and many others, Then, the Glorious Revolution of England began and laid the foundation the the English Bill of rights.

William and Mary (1688 - 1702)

I am the daughter of King James II but I was raised as a Protestant unlike my dad and I married my first cousin, William of Orange. When the Parliament succeeded to overthrow my dad, They asked William and I to take over as a Protestant alternative. Our rule began with the constitutional Monarchy in England by agreeing with the government and We passes the English Bill of Rights in 1689.
