But as the story goes on you see a change he stands up for his friends and helps them through a difficult situation. Take the Hunger Games for example. In the novel Katnis Everdeen took her little sisters place in the games, and she has to fight for her life in order to get back home. Making every chapter have a different mood/tone. In chapter 6 the overall tone is lost. Being lost and not knowing where you are, and that's how Bilbo is feeling in this chapter. Since he doesn't know where he is nor where all his friends are and everyone else. Just like the very first Hunger Games movie/book. Katnis has no idea who she is or where she is when she is put into the arena. This picture fits best for this because they are on this adventure that has bumps in the road and things that are holding them back. But they can see along the horizon they will get to where they need to be and accomplish what they want to. I personally went through something like this with my family. We were going through a death in the family, and at the moment we thought nothing was going to get better. But we had hope and we knew things would eventually get better. Just how you can see the sun over the little hill in the road. Bilbo didn't think he was cut out to go on an adventure and go along with them in their journey, but he did because he didn't want to be an ordinary  Hobbit. He did it to try out something new and step out of his comfort zone. Which i think everyone should do at least once in their life. This theme can also relate to my personal life. I have always been scared to try playing an instrument because it's something i have never tried before. But i finally gave it a try in 6th grade when i first did band, and i'm happy that i did it. I then realized i had a natural talent for playing an instrument. Band gave me so many opportunities and memories. The mountain where Smaug has been hiding, the mountain that Smaug had taken over and now calls his own. Bilbo is the one to enter the cave/castle since he was the one that had the ring, the ring that makes invisible. He uses this ring to get past the dragon without getting caught. Everything that happens in this chapter can relate to Harry Potter. In the very last Harry Potter movie/book Harry uses his scar and connection that he has with Voldemort. He uses this connection to then kill Voldemort.
