Those two remarks were made by the guard to the monkey king. Those two remarks are a form of discrimination against the monkey. "You have no hearing." "You're still deaf."
Those remarks are some of millions things said to deaf/Deaf and hard of hearing individuals everyday. Deafness is seen as a disability or some form of stupid and has been for years and years. That is straight up ignorance. The monkey king wasn't allowed into the party for the fact he's a monkey. Deaf people get denied jobs and other things for the fact they're deaf.

The monkey king was confused when he was told this by the guard, it's never happened to him before. Deaf/deaf people feel the same way a lot of the time. Most grow up in accepting house holds or in deaf/Deaf families and they don't receive this type of disrespect until they go out into the real world.

People are so quick to hate because most of them don't take the time to learn and educate themselves about the topic. People fear what they don't know/ the unknown.
