Firstly, Mr. White reveals that he has experiences many obstacles in his life on his journey to success. However, his obstacles have been due to racial prejudice in society. It is disheartening that Mr. White was not given an equal chance to be successful. However, it appears that through his struggles he did not give up. This ted talk was about first hand accounts of racism and the effects racism. Race is another key to success, and it shouldn't be. People are not only judged by their gender, but by the color of their skin. Women make about 78 cents to every dollar a man make, and the number is even lower depending on what race they are.
