My mentor coordination is great! We communicate often. She checks in on me regularly and is very supportive. If I have a question, she is always available to help me and I appreciate that.

I have already spoken with my mentor and the head of the science department about one of my classes that has a difficult time staying on task, staying focused, and generally trying to do the work in the class. Both my mentor and the head of my department have been very helpful and have given me great ideas on how to handle these different types of issues in the classroom.

I think the house administrator is off to a good start. Some ideas aren't fully thought through at times, but she wants what's best for the kids. We can all stand behind that.

I would like mentor coordinator to know that we appreciate her and the time to collaborate and vent in the joint BT/Mentor meeting.

It is very helpful that paperwork is now digital.
Suggestion: Can emails from Mentor Coordinator be condensed to once a week so that we do not miss information due to length/frequency of emails.

Our mentor coordinator is such a hard worker and seems to love her job and helping teachers. She always makes me feel appreciated.

If I'm being honest, I would like to see our mentor meetings more aligned with supporting our BT. Information (deadlines, important dates, etc) can be handled with an email. Staying for meetings that are an hour to cover topics such as seclusion/restraint doesn't seem to align with what we need to know as mentors. Time is something we all need more of, so if staying after school is absolutely neccessary, I would like to walk away with information that helps me to be a better mentor.

The support I get from my mentor coordinator is great. She is so kind and always reminds me its gonna be ok. She gets things answered and figures out solutions even if she doesn't have the answer she will find it!! One thing that would be nice/helpful for me, is to hear more positives on the things are going well or I'm doing good at.

Our mentor coordinator is extremely motivating and supportive. I like that things are all linked into emails for easier access. I also like the separate BT and Mentor hyperdocs- they are a Godsend when looking for paperwork. I see a message here about multiple emails being sent; I get that, but, honestly, if I didn't get the numerous reminder emails, I would forget to complete the necessary tasks.

I love the mentor coordinator! I am typically in awe of how organized she is, based on the fact that I feel like I never have time to be that organized and put together. I am thankful for her expertise and her support! I do like the idea of one big email with all of our monthly info in it. I feel that would be helpful.

My mentor coordinator has been awesome. She is always encouraging, uplifting, and helps keep us going. Her little surprises (like on the first day of school, birthdays, etc.) have been an added blessing. I always feel "seen" with her. Being a BT 1, I do feel overwhelmed at times, but she is very understanding and brings a calming word to help encourage and keep me going.

I enjoy the digital format we have for turning in paperwork. I like the mentor/mentee meetings being combined. Also, I like the suggestion of less emails. Maybe once a week?

I belive that in order for a house admin to help - they need to know what your job entails. All of us wear different hats and have extra duties - as well as have different requirements for our classes. In order for them to be able to offer assistance, they need to KNOW what each teacher actually does.

I can honestly say that our mentor coordinator is one of the most supportive people I know. She is always willing to listen and helps. She is encouraging and always on our team!
- I do like the suggestion of one email per week. I feel this would be a great way to keep all of the information in one place and also give Mrs. Lanier the opportunity to focus on one email vs. an email for each thing :)

I would like to add that the mentor observation of the BT is very repetitive. I find myself saying the same things for both forms of the observation. It would be great if we could just use one of those forms instead of both. Then maybe add a plus/delta (glows/grows) at the end. I think hearing the things that are going really well, along with a few suggestions would be both encouraging and beneficial to our BT. It would also be better use of the mentor's time when completing the paperwork.
