The main idea of the article is that scientists have been able to uncover holes that line Stonehenge, and are around 5 meters by 20 meters in size. This is one of the largest discoveries of this year, and it's interesting how one of the most famous spots on Earth could have something that was hadn't been observed before. My personal connection to this text is that we are still making discoveries every day. This is personal to me because I want to help discover the unknown, and it helps to see these types of articles showing that new discoveries are still possible. I just think that it is amazing that we still know very little about the world around us, and there are things that we have never seen before. However, since humans are naturally a curious species, not all things can stay hidden forever.  

Ultrablack fish can help discover new materials and more information for marine biologist that can benefit with better and more accurate equipment/knowledge.I thought this article was pretty interesting because the fish can basically turn invisible, I also got to learn about another sea animal so thats cool. I like articles like this cause their fun to read and their not a whole lot of information they push into your brain they broke it down into the main segments of the science which made it easier to learn.-leilani

AO4: Honestly reading this article made me realize I am in a perpetual state of stress....Just constantly. The moment I get one stressors out of the way I'm hit with another thing to dread for a couple weeks. Is this even healthy??? The article said it wasn't. But what does a professional know anyways. In a weird twisted sense I kind of like the feeling of stress--piling responsibilities makes me busy and I like staying on my feet.

The Mayan girls in this article who are speakers of English, Spanish, and mostly Q'anjob'al volunteer at their local Guatemalan-Maya Center and help by acting as translators for immigrants who don't understand English or Spanish. This article can relate to me on a very personal level because my moms side of the family all live in Mexico and speak mostly Spanish and I can only speak a little Spanish so it can be hard with the language barrier, but they are still my family and I enjoy spending time with them. However some of my cousins can speak English and Spanish and act as somewhat as a translator for me and it is really helpful because I can talk to my family more than I would be able to without a translator. I am trying really hard to learn Spanish, but it helps for now having my cousins there.

When learning of RBG's death I really had no idea who she was or what she stood for in the Supreme Court, but as the days went on and more news coverage was being done about her, I learned how important she was to the women's rights and minorities rights movements. Considering the fact that the Supreme Court is mainly Republican and/or conservative, it is kind of scary that if another person with conservative views were to be accepted into her spot that certain doors may be closed for women and other groups. Being a young woman and having to fear for your rights being stripped away isn't the best feeling.

Personally I connect to this article because I myself am really interested in the Holocaust and have an Instagram account that I am on often. I feel the girls were really smart to form the account on the platform to share the stories of how this tragedy affected people. It is a good way to get the younger generations attention and teach them about the events that took place.

I lived In China for ten years growing up and I find it interesting that while I lived there, I thought he was such a good person since I was taught that at a young age.  But In the U.S there is a whole different perspective of the destruction it caused and I really get to witness "Both sides of an argument".
