The day before the test, I was freaking out. I genuinely believed I wouldn’t make it. That’s when my friend, Maíra, came over. She sat next to me and said, “You’ve been studying for days, you can do it. Honestly, even the class above us passed this subject. You remember how lost they were? If they made it, you can make it too.”

That wasn’t very kind to them, but it was true and kind of comforting. She was right. The class above us had barely survived that subject, and somehow they managed to pass it. If they could make it, maybe I could too. So we studied together, and the next day, I took the test. I didn’t ace it, but I passed, and that was all I needed.

The problem was, I had never changed a flat tire before, on this specific car, and to make matters worse, I couldn't even find where the spare tire and tools were. I pulled out my cellphone, but the signal was weak and the battery was almost empty. Desperately, I searched for a video on YouTube about changing a flat tire on my specific car. Just as the battery was about to die, I managed to find a video that showed each step I needed to follow. Determined to make it, I gathered my tools and got to work.

Despite the initial struggle, I managed to loosen the lug nuts and lift the car with the jack. Following the instructions carefully, I replaced the flat tire with the spare one. It wasn't easy, but I kept reminding myself that I could make it through this challenge.

Finally, after what felt like hours, I tightened the last lug nut and lowered the car back to the ground. I had done it! I had made it through a tough situation using my cellphone and YouTube as my guide, just in the nick of time. As I drove away, I felt a sense of accomplishment and relief, knowing that I could make it through whatever came my way.

"Let’s build something!" my son said excitedly.

"Alright," I smiled. "But what should we make?"

Piece by piece, we worked together. At one point, a piece came loose and dismantled the rocket.

"Don’t worry," I said, "We can still make it."

He smiled, picked up the bricks, and tried again. In the end, the rocket stood tall on the table and he said "We did make it" !!!

We had a great time, laughing and telling stories to our wives. But almost in the end of the night, I saw that his mood was already changing, and I knew why. So I told him: " You've already studied everything you could, so now just focus. You will make it."

In this morning, I had the great news that he had made it. He was approved in the first places.

It took me a long time to prepare that but I thought it was ok.

When my wife got home, she saw the surprise and said, "let me taste it!" When she put the food in her mouth, closed her eyes, smiled and looked at me, I thought to myself, "I made it!"

My friend wanted make a dinner, but she doesn't know how to cook. To help her, I sent a shrimp stroganoff recipe and said: "You can make it!" In fact she made it! He loved her food and they are together now. My friend was very happy, and grateful for the help in the right time!
