Ontology, It focuses on questions such as what really exists? and what does it mean to exist? From a broader perspective, it seeks to categorize and understand the different types of entities that make up the world, how they relate to each other, and how they can be grouped into different categories.

It investigates what it means for something to be "being." In this context, "being" is considered to be the most fundamental thing in reality.

When studying ontology, I discovered that it is the branch of philosophy that seeks to understand the fundamental nature of reality. It led me to question my beliefs and assumptions, and explore different perspectives and theories. I learned that ontology does not seek definitive answers, but rather encourages us to debate and reflect. I developed a greater awareness of my own beliefs and learned to question them constructively. Ontology is a valuable tool for developing critical and reflective thinking.

In my opinion, ontology is an essential part of philosophy, as it deals with the most fundamental thing: being and existence. It explores deep questions such as what it means for something to exist and how reality is classified. It also distinguishes between the essence of things and their changing properties, as well as questioning how beings can maintain their identity over time. I find it particularly interesting how this discipline also encompasses abstract and social concepts, giving us tools to understand both the physical world and the social structures in which we live.

Through the study of ontology, I have understood how the conception of being has varied throughout different eras, addressing fundamental themes such as permanence and change, theocentrism, existentialism and humanism. Each historical era has offered its own interpretation of the nature of being, which is deeply fascinating. I find it especially interesting to observe how ontological perception evolves over time, which demonstrates that human thought is a dynamic process, always in constant movement. This philosophical evolution reveals that ideas never remain static, but are continually transformed as they confront new questions and contexts. This reflects the ability of human beings to adapt and redefine their understanding of the world and themselves, reaching new conclusions in each era.
