The earthquake was 7.1 magnitude. Hundreds of people including volunteers  and rescue  workers look into the rubble for survivors in damaged buildings. Volunteers are bringing food and water to help official authorities when looking for survivors. The earthquake only lasted 20 seconds but had waves that reverberated for much longer, the Mexican president had later confirmed that 22 bodies had been recovered from a collapsed school building but 48 people still remain missing, the damage is extensive and has taken away homes and workplaces for many people.

Puerto Rico and he U.S. Virgin island are destined to experience harsh weather from  Hurricane Maria 

Maria had winds speed of 260 km/h  and this may awaken hurricane Irma if hurricane Maria 
heads for the islands .

The U.S. National Hurricane center disclaimed that Tuesday night Hurricane Maria is approaching St.Croix and the U.S. Virgin islands with speeds as high as 280km/h

If hurricane Maria stays on track it will hit Puerto Rico approximately on Wednesday , then Maria will pass the north Dominican Republic , on either Wednesday or Thursday


The storm reached Dominica population of 72,000 people late on Monday. Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit disclaimed on his social media page the devastation can cause deathes because of rain-fed landslides.

In Dominica they are extremly vulnerable to be flooded because they have such steep  mountains , this may happen after heavy rain in Dominica when Maria passes by Dominica


The winds in Dominica are crazy , at almost every house there is no more roofs , if any resident talked to Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit , they said that their roof was the first thing in their house to go.

Staff have been recieving training on identifying overdoses and how to reverse the effect with the provided medication. Pam Ryan said in the public, they want people to feel happy, comfortable, and safe. Also they said can't just ignore the problem that's affecting many citizens of Toronto. A public library board meeting being planned next week hints that naloxone kits will be needed throughout the city. Only those who have completed the training given. personal protective equipment will be given. The problem of overdoses from opioid has bumped up in Toronto from previous years. From 2004-2015, the number of people dying from overdoses went up by 73%.

Maria is the first hurricane of category 4 or higher to hit in nearly 80 years. 

Near 80,000 people or 40% of households were left without power. Maria ripped off the roofs of houses and left much of the population of 73,000 in ruins.

Maria grew from 65mph on Sunday to 160ph by Monday night.

But, chaos has broken out in all refugee camps. The people of Rohingya are struggling to survive as they have lost freedom and basic needs such as water, food and shelter. The people of Rohingya are not only suffering from that but also have to deal with heavy and strong rain which as caused floods that has wreaked many of the refugee camps. On top of that the people of Rohingya have to suffer from the army and diseases that have broken out. Many have fled but, many also did not make it out. 400 deaths were reported and that was just from the army. To sum it up Rohingya is in need of support and aid.
